the pebble is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood steps from the northwest arm of Halifax Harbour. Liz is a wonderful hostess who quickly makes you feel at home. Mornings begin with delicious breakfasts made on her beloved AGA stove and wonderful conversation with Liz and any other guests. Liz is a great source of information about restaurants and...

The Pebble Suite (especially nice, the bathroom & jacuzzi with the adjoining patio) which we had booked quite early provided us with an excellent base (ample parking on a quiet street, near the water) for exploring Halifax (thanks Liz for the restaurant tips, Edna's and the Brooklyn Warehouse) and surroundings (for sights, we can recommend the Arts Gallery and the...

Liz has created the most beautiful, Impeccably clean and welcoming home just minutes away from downtown Halifax. Her attention to detail is evident throughout the house with beautiful European bedding and toiletries to her delicious well thought out breakfast. She has great suggestions for sites and restaurants for Halifax and all of Nova Scotia. She welcomes you into her home...

Let me say this right up front - I believe The Pebble is the the best B&B we have stayed in. We travel extensively and often vary where we stay on vacation between hotels and B&Bs. Choosing the Pebble was our best decision on this trip. We got lucky as Liz had a late cancellation and we were able to...

We stayed two nights at the Pebble and really, really loved it. Liz is so personable and sweet. The house is pristinely clean, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Our flight home wasn't until the evening...Liz kindly allowed me to check out of the room late, and even offered to make me lunch as...

We absolutely loved The Pebble. Liz was so wonderful - she is so friendly and helpful. You can tell she pours her heart into running her b&b. She gave us the great advice to stop in Mahone Bay instead of Lunenburg when we were visiting the south shore (we ended up stopping in both, but definitely agreed that Mahone Bay...

Great hostess, meticulous attention to detail, very comfortable and convenient location to downtown. We have truly enjoyed our stay! Plus, Liz let me give her beautiful cat some tuna...a touch of home a long way away.

My wife and I spent four delightful days with Liz in her beautiful home. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is close enough to the city and the highways to be convenient to everything we wanted to do. Our room was always clean and well cared for. The living room is easy to relax in. The breakfasts were fantastic....

The Pebble is one of the best b&b's I have ever stayed at. Elizabeth was so accommodating and friendly, we felt like family and didn't want to leave. The bed and breakfast itself it pretty centrally located in order to explore Nova Scotia if you have a rental car. Elizabeth's breakfasts in the morning were fantastic and we would definitely...
