Just had a one night stay here in this interesting little town. It's not often we get to stay in a place that's 170 years old. This was a budget price with 5 star service - Debbie and Jamie are made for being hosts.
Comfortable room but along a busy road so can be noisy on that side of the Inn. Breakfast of homemade blueberry pancakes was delicious though. The B&B owners have lived in the area a long time and are very knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to chat.
If you are looking for somewhere modern and bland this is not for you but if you want excellent hospitality and character this is it. It's an old house 1840(?) and a bit rickety but well cared for, although there are always things that need...More
