Would I go back there?? Absolutely !! The setting is perfect, quiet with stunning views of some boats on the beautiful bay with the mountainous backdrop. It is aptly decorated in a late 1800's early 1900's style that makes you feel you've stepped back in time. Very comfy rooms that are missing nothing. I ate the beast breakfast that I... More

The home is a beautifully renovated and decorated period home with a fully equipped kitchen and hosts that get the balance right in providing information and guidance without over presence. The B and B breakfast is faultless with home made bread, jams and fruit salad and cooked breakfast to order.

The house is old with a history, and I am sure has many stories to tell. It is beautifully comfortable and welcoming. Hosts Tony and Kathy are warm and friendly - there when you need them, but never hovering too much. They have got this gig just right! They live in a house 50m away, so Casilda is shared between... An old country house, beautifully restored and furnished welcomes you to the Peninsula area. Hosts Tony and Kathy are a delight, friendly and welcoming. The house itself has 3 bedrooms, each with ensuite, a central lounge (sherry and port supplied!) and central dining area for a lovely country breakfast cooked by the owners. We were very comfortable and found the... More

I spent two nights at the lovely Casilda House in Dunalley. Kathy and Tony are wonderful hosts, the place is very cosy and clean, and the breakfast (freshly cooked) is a delight! It's perfect to visit the Tasman Peninsula/Port Arthur. Loved the close-by Bangor Wine & Oyster Shed too.

We just stayed at Casilda House and enjoyed the warm hopitality of Tony and Kathy (owners). The rooms and the rest of the house have been restored to old English charm. There were chocolates laid on the bed after they have turned down for us in the evening. WiFi connection was really good and fast. The place is squeaky clean.... More

From the moment you check in you feel welcomed. Tony and Kathy have renovated this beautiful house, which survived the 2013 fires, themselves and their love glows through. The linen is clean, fresh and crisp, heated blankets adding to the comfort. The lounge room is wonderful, sitting by a roaring fire after a busy day is a treat. Breakfast is... More

We stayed in lovely Casilda House when we were touring Tasmania last November, so this is a very tardy review. but I can honestly say it was one of the nicest places we have stayed in anywhere. The accommodation is lovely, well thought-out, so comfortable and with great attention to detail. The house has been lovingly restored by Tony, and both... More

Excellent in all areas...lovely atmosphere, terrific host. You can sit outside and enjoy the ocean view. Take a nice stroll along the bay. Comfortable lounge area to read, chat with other guest or just relax. I will definitely come here again.
