Lovely old house with fantastic location easy access to downtown and Queens University. Very pleasant staff, clean rooms filled with interesting antiques. The breakfast was simple but fresh. the parking could be tight in winter but as it was a weekend, street parking was fine.

Excellent staff but the owner really needs to put a bit of the profits back in to make it shine a bit. Old rickety furniture, faucet dripped all night keeping me awake. Couldn't close one of the windows but the fresh air was nice. Just a waste of energy. Worst thing was the small shower enclosure that could easily be...

The hotel is in a former physican''s home. It is quaint, clean, professional, friendly staff. The light breakfast was delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, toasted English muffins, with a wide variety of spreads, large carafe of fresh hot coffee served in your room or in the sitting room. The room was large and airy and clean and the bed was...

The online pics of this hotel are deceiving. It is a beautiful building, conveniently located in the heart of Kingston. However, it is in dire need of refurbishment, especially the stair carpets which are black with wear. It was unfortunate that the hotel had heating issues when we arrived and fan heaters were put in the rooms. The heating engineers...

Love this place. Older and a little creaky in spots but reminds me of the old farm houses. Sturdy and comfortable. Room was spacious (305), AC was a little noisy but didn't need it that much. Service is top notch, breakfast of muffin, jam, cheese coffee is very good, well prepared and presented. Parking is limited but lots on street...

The Belvedere is a well run establishment, created from a Victorian-era mansion, with attentive and very pleasant staff. My room was very spacious, with a large bedroom and separate sitting area. Bath was a bit smaller, but adequate. My only complaint was the absence of a Fox News Channel on a rather well stocked TV lineup. Breakfast was minimal (English...

We stayed at the hotel Belvedere to celebrate our anniversary. We stay in Kingston at least once a year and have stayed at most of the b&bs and inns in this lovely town. Although the hotel was clean and I loved that they brought breakfast to our room, the whole place could use a little sprucing up. It simply doesn't...

Staff were friendly, room was very clean and spacious (room 207). Furnishings in the room were very unique! Free breakfast was adequate and we were able to bring in additional food items that the staff stored in a refrigerator until we requested it. Very easy and pleasant walk to restaurants from the hotel. Highly recommend staying here!

Definitely the nicest of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Canada. The room was great, but the staff were the best part. They were super nice and made the stay very comfortable. The short walk to downtown was great for going to dinner. The neighborhood was quiet. Definitely preferred over chain hotels. Almost felt like a B&B.

This old house is now a quiet unassuming hotel or B and B. We had a lovely big room on the main floor, near reception. If you don't like stairs the main floor is the place to stay. The lounge on the main floor is very comfortable. The friendly staff serve breakfast but not other meals although the place is...
