Got upgraded due to Marriott Status to a nice premium Fallsvew room. Place was quiet... elevators fast, fast check in, easy parking (but brutally expensive for now)....lots of alternatives way cheaper nearby. Room was pretty good all around. Big tub, newish shower and bathroom. It did the job. As usual in Niagara, a ton of local fees, taxes etc.... Restaurant closed. Starbucks only opens at 8.. and is EXPENSIVE !!! I mean... don't go to Niagara if you are on a budget. It's a bit of a rip off at this point what these guys (Niagara Region and Tourism board) are doing. But back to the hotel... I like the location, it's the furthest away at the end of the Ave.. so a little less traffic, but that also means a longer walk to the actual Falls.. (22 Mins each way). Nothing to complain about on this overnight trip at this Marriott (Other than the FEES!! - that all area hotels charge.

Pros- Views- We stayed on 29th floor Superior fallsview room. The view was amazing! Cons Parking- NOT ENOUGH parking! Why should people pay $$ for parking if there are not enough parking??? A lot of people just parked on the sides of road or curb even if those are not parking spots. The underground parking is sooooo cramped! Microwave- people pay $300+ per night but microwave is still extra!?!?! Microwaves should be free! Elevator- sooooo slow!!! Expect to wait minutes before you can go where you wanna go.

Saturday of the long weekend in May I stayed at the Marriot on the Falls. The room seemed clean but the ac was not working . Service people came to fix it which was good. There was a fire alarm tripped on the 20th floor. I was on the 6th floor and decided to walk down the stairs and wait outside. After we were allowed in I began to climb the stairs and noticed a used condom on the ground level of the stairs. It is disgusting to see at anytime and totally unacceptable to see it during a pandemic when hotels should be vigilant about their cleanliness. They have lost so much revenue that one would hope they would do a full scale cleaning everyday due to the pandemic. I am thoroughly outraged and would never stay there again. I told the front desk and they were matter of fact about it. It didnt seem to phase them. I would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here April 16 with family. Booked through Expedia. Check-in was excellent and efficient. Room was a little dirty, and we found loose hair on the bed. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay, and I would consider for future accomodation.

Stayed one night over the school break in April since I did promise my sister we would get out of the house. Got upgraded to a whirlpool suite which my sister absolutely loved! Front desk was wonderful and covid protocols were followed. Felt safe and relaxed throughout. The breakfast was great too. Coming back next month to celebrate graduating and getting a job!
