Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and impeccably clean. There is an upstairs guest lounge fitted out with coffee, water and soft drinks. Breakfast was good and Julie and Bob Bonnell helpful and charming. Though I had worried that it was "too far out of town" we found it convenient and easy to get to. To the hosts: Watch the scented... The Brass Bell, owned by Julie and Bob Bonnell, is charming and in an excellent location on the very quiet Mary St., just 3 minutes from downtown NOTL. Bob could not be funnier and Julie any more adorable and charming. Bob's quite the breakfast cook! Everything is yummy He looks pretty cute in his Brass Bell apron. This long married... More

We stayed for 2 nights in mid-September with another couple (who knew the host couple personally), so we may have been treated specially...although the hosts are lovely people who (we suspect) treat ALL of their guests like friends. We were asked about our personal tastes and our breakfast was tailored accordingly! Beds and bathrooms were flawless. Bedrooms were spacious and... More

Stayed here for one night. We had the captains room. It was a fantastic king sized bed. Excellent breakfast. The walk to town though lengthy is a very nice walk through great neighbour hood. There is shops and a few restaruants within 5 mins too incase you dont want to venture to town. I would recommend to anyone and will... More

We stayed at The Brass Bell for one night in the Down east room. The accommodations were clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was very good. The hosts do a great job of accommodating any dietary restrictions and preferences and the breakfast was so hearty we were good for the entire day of sightseeing in NOTL. The hosts are just... More

We have stayed at The Brass Bell several times since it opened over a decade ago and the quality of everything--while high from the beginning--has improved over the years, especially the bedding and decor. Bob and Julie are wonderful hosts and walking encyclopedias of everything worth doing in NOTL and Niagara Falls. This last visit we brought friends from the... More

Stayed at The Brass Bell for one night whilst visiting Niagara Falls with family who live in Canada. Julie and Bob were great hosts and the B&B itself was lovely. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Superb hospitality awaits you in our comfortable, spacious home in Old Town. We are close to many of the area’s amenities -- restaurants, theatres, shopping, golf, wineries and Niagara Falls’ attractions. Built in the latter part of the last century, The Brass Bell Bed & Breakfast is named after the ship's bell of sea-going vessels, Thus the decor is a mix of contemporary and traditional styles with a light nautical touch (Bob is a retired Navy Commander). Our beautifully appointed rooms all have ensuite bathrooms, two have four-poster queen-sized beds and one has a king-sized sleigh bed. ... more   less
