We just enjoyed an amazing weekend at John's Gate Bed and Breakfast with our best friends. Only about a 15 minute walk to the historic downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake this quaint little B&B has a whole lot of old fashioned hospitality. The place is clean, loved and overflowing proudly with so many antique treasures. Some may call it outdated...we call it homey...

The innkeeper, Meheroo, is a wonderful cook who offers different gourmet breakfasts each morning. The BNB is comfortable, our guest room was lovely. She happily makes reservations if necessary, can set up wine tours, bike rentals, or whatever is needed. A stay here is like being at home.

Also, Meheroo is a gracious hostess who has many tips and suggestions for the area. We also enjoyed sitting on her porch, sipping local wine, listening to the quiet night sounds. My husband and I took my parents, who were celebrating their 50th anniversary, to NOTL for the weekend. I had never stayed at a B&B but was intrigued by the gourmet breakfasts and the convenient location. The weekend couldn't have been more perfect, thanks to the hospitality of the owner, Meheroo.
