We were staying there as a group of 6 people and the host was very generous and accommodating. He made sure we had a pleasant time and was a great person to chat with and learn from. On top of a clean and nice place to stay at, breakfast was well-prepared for us. With croissants, danishes, bread, cheese, ham, fresh... More

Very quiet, clean comfortable accommodation if you are traveling as a family or with a disabled person or with a pet . Off the main drag, away from traffic in a suburban neighborhood. Ample living room, small bedrooms and bathroom unless you have the large room. Breakfast was ample and excellent, croissants, health bread, cold cuts and omelette. Good coffee.... More

Our stay at “A Happy Place” was the best we have had in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The property is beautiful, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, also Leon and his wife were very warm and a joy to talk to. We would recommend this place to any one who wants to have a restful and homey stay.

Happy Place was very homey and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and conversation at the breakfast table delightful. Specifically stayed in a room with a private patio, which I would highly recommend for early morning coffee or evening wine. Even better, if you are a lover of antiques, you can browse and shop in the house!

Our stay at Leon's place was great! Booking and discussing the arrival time was easy, Leon was always quick with answers to all our questions. The house is cozy and beautiful, with pieces of art all over the place which i find charming. The house is in a very quiet area where you can rest after visits to Niagara falls,... More

The accommodation was very nice, but what really makes this property special is the owner, Leon, who is a charming and erudite man and in the antique business. He is a pleasure to speak to and a wealth of knowledge. He aslo made us an excellent breakfast and gave us a... More

great location - close to everything you need. The host Leon is very Warm, and the place is very cozy, with shared sitting and dining areas. We enjoyed a good continental breakfast around a big table with the other people in the b&b, and enjoyed a great long conversation between everybody. This place just invites this sort of interaction. What a wonderful B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Leon is a charming local antique dealer and has many wonderful stories and incredible antiquities in his home. The B&B is on a lovely quiet street in a great location close to the center of town. We stayed in the Garden Room, which had its own walk out patio and patio set to sit... More

Our host, Leon, had many musical instruments which we could have used if we were inclined. His interest in artifacts is deep. He is a knowledgable, world traveller and happy to discuss many subjects. He is very accommodating when it comes to check in and out times. Breakfast is an extended, European, continental; very generous.

On our way from Toronto to Buffalo, we had the real pleasure to discover a charming B&B, well located, in a peaceful area. The unique design in a mix of modern and antique gives a personal touch to the place and we felt very well taken care of there. A real Happy Place! And if you have a feeling for... More
