We stayed four nights and were treated to a delicious and different breakfast each morning after and quiet, comfortable sleep. There is a study with homemade cookies and a small fridge stocked with cool drinks at the end of a long day of sight seeing (or helping a relative move). The price was right, especially considering we stayed during a...

We appreciate the good comments about our attempt to provide a varied and excellent breakfast and a comfortable place to stay. I would like to note that we do have central air conditioning for the whole house, but unfortunately these guests were here during that recent very hot spell and up on the second floor where the bedrooms are is...

We loved staying here! We arrived in Ottawa after midnight and still Paul waited up to welcome us. He showed us our cozy room with large, clean bath across the hall that was for our exclusive use. In the morning we could enjoy the unique ambiance of the home. There were lots of interesting collections and antiques, etc. to enjoy...

Shirley Samantha is a very lucky stuffed doll that lives with Cynthia and Paul at their wonderful B&B. Everything here is clean and welcoming. The location is convenient to downtown if you are up to a moderately-long walk. If not, the bus runs every 15-20 minutes from about a block away. Breakfast was delicious, with every detail nicely done. Knowledgeable...

Our family stayed in this b&b for 2 nights. We booked both of the rooms which were located in the upper floor so we had the upper floor all to us. One room had en-suite bathroom and the other bathroom was just opposite the room. The rates were very reasonable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They were nicely...

Comfortable mattress and clean crispy sheets, I had a very good sleep. There is construction going on next door, but they don't start too early, so it was a non issue. Breakfast was amazing, it was nice to have a set schedule for it, this way we had a chance to meet other guests and get some travel tips.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Shirley Samantha's bed and breakfast. Upon arrival we were treated to yummy toffee and triple chocolate chip cookies. They offered us free cold drinks and the use of a mini fridge, which was great! Room was very clean and queen bed was quite comfortable. My LO slept through the night in her separate...

You'll be more than comfortable in this homey B&B; great decor, wonderful imaginative breakfast and lots of little touches that most places haven't covered. Cynthia is friendly and warm and obviously loves what she does. Don't miss it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at this artistically decorated B&B. I very much loved the decor and it felt very homely. The B&B is located about a thirty minute walk from the town centre but there are buses if you don’t want to walk. The host had bus passes available to purchase if required. Our room was quite spacious...

This is THE best hosting experience I've ever had in my life, even compared to 5-star hotels. We stayed in the green room, that is exactly as in the picture, with a nice private bathroom. Actually, towels and sheets are better than the ones I've at home, there are cookies on the table outside of the room and the overall...
