Awesome property. Perfect retreat. Only 15 mins walk to Parliament hill. Property is well maintained and clean. Manager is pleasant and adds a personal touch to your stay. Breakfast is wonderful with fresh eggs and toast. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting. Much better than the larger hotel chains that only see you as a number.

We stayed one night on a road trip heading west. The motel is close to an airport, but we weren't bothered by any noise. Our room was very clean, had no odor of smoke or mold, and had comfortable beds. The person on duty in the office was courteous and professional. Breakfast in this motel was coffee, cereal, and muffins....

Affordable, excellent location, walking distance to the Parliament and next to one of the main promenades in Ottawa, Elgin Street. It’s like you have a sleep over in your sophisticated grandma’s old and comfortable home. No frills, shared shower and washroom, cramped parking, however, for a few nights in the capital – I found it great! Lucy, the lady on...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a trip to see the U.S. Women's soccer team in the quarterfinals. We picked the Rideau for a combination of price and proximity to the soccer stadium as well as sightseeing and restaurants. The location couldn't be beat. The Rideau is on a quiet side street but just...

We rented the whole basement (2 rooms + living room with a sleeper sofa) for a bachelor night in Ottawa. The place was comfortable and all equipped to cook some food. The B&B was very well located near several restaurants and bars, that was the main advantage. We had a car and we were able to park it nearby.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night this past weekend while attending a wedding in Ottawa. When I arrived, the host - Lucy - was very welcoming and showed me around the building. She was incredibly nice and easy going, ensuring I had everything I needed. The room that we rented - the Alberta - was also very...

The location of this B&B is perfect. It is a 15 minute walk to nearly every attraction Ottawa has to offer. There are loads of restaurants within walking distance also. Parking is limited, so be prepared for that. Lucie, the B&B Manager, was just lovely and warmly welcomed us and acquainted us with the property. The room was nice, and...

The host was very hospitable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a wide variety of choices for breakfast. We had a wonderful time staying at the Rideau Inn! We stayed in the basement. The stairs are very narrow so I wouldn't recommend a basement room for anyone with mobility challenges.

Perfect location! Just a 15 minute walk to the Rideau Centre and the Byward Market. Very close to Elgin Street and many great restaurants. Parking is included if you reserve and park in the back or free parking on the street near the B&B. We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the home. We stayed in the Saskatchewan...

We have stayed her a few times on our trips to Ottawa visiting family. The staff is always friendly.... night and day staff. Breakfast is meager, but we don't expect a full course meal! Fresh coffee always on and the muffins were superb! Great location close to major traffic arteries. A taste of 'country' in the city.
