Comfy queen size bed,, large, clean room and our pup was welcome. Breakfast was non-existent; continental is what they say, but its coffee and muffin, so if you want real food, go out for it. Staff were courteous, but not overly helpful.

I had to attend a business conference in Ottawa recently and wanted someplace to stay that was "cheap and cheerful", no fancy amenities, just quiet, clean and a good bed. The Rideau Heights did just that. I give them 4 stars for the quality with which they executed the concept of a value motel, not for the extent of the...

There was constant buzzing noise through out the night. And the washer next to room didn't help. Staff was friendly. I was up all night which was frustrating because I had presentation to deliver the following morning.

My daughter and I came to Ottawa for the Carleton fall open house tours, so chose to stay at the Rideau Heights Inn. 24 years ago when I was a Carleton student my parents would stay here as it was so conveniently located to where I was living and the school. In the years that have passed, the little hotel...

Good Morning Mike, Thank you so much for such a great review. Being an independent family business we value all of our guests comments and recommendations. I will pass along your kind words to our staff. I wish your daughter all the best for her schooling and hope to see you again the next time you are in Ottawa.

nice, clean, comfortable, motel just a bit south of Ottawa. It is priced reasonable and worth taking the drive into Ottawa daily from here. Ottawa hotels are VERY expensive. A close drive to restaurants and attractions.

Good Morning Sir, Thank you for taking your time to place a review. As Ottawa has grown we have found our location very central to all of Ottawa. We are only a short drive (15 minutes) along the Rideau Canal which will take you to the heart of downtown but without the downtown prices. Thank you again and we hope...

This was a really nice hotel. It was very clean, the staff were excellent, and I didn't have a problem with it being too loud. The breakfast was lackluster, but not any worse than any other hotel I've stayed at. Definitely good value for the money I paid

I have stayed at Rideau Heights many times. Its location is close to but not on a major intersection and so it provides easy accessibility to many areas of Ottawa. I like being able to drive right up to my room and unload easily. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms, recently updated, are large, comfortable and clean....

The place is clean and surrounded by pretty trees - at least in the Fall. There are lots of surfaces to place luggage etc on, including a nice table and chair for laptop work. Short of plug-ins, a common problem, which is why we carry a power bar. There is a sofa bed in our unit which is actually possible...

I stay once or twice a year and have done so for many years - nice quiet spot yet close to amenities such as Tim Horton's just North, McDonalds to the South....Downtown Ottawa not too far of a drive yet do not have to pay the Downtown prices for accommodation at this location..
