Fantastic service by this family operated motel. Renovations galore and think hunters chic decore, very clean and easy on the pocket book. The energy feels very safe and in a good location on your travels up north to Cottage country.

We stayed here for one night. This place is safe and beautiful. The owners are very pleasant. The beds are clean and comfortable. We felt at home! I love the fridge and coffee maker. Nice place for the kids to play basketball!

Stayed for two nights from July 1 and 2, 2016. Just a place to sleep since i was out and about all day. I requested a smoking room and when I got there i was glad i arrived early as the smoke smell was heavy. I opened all the windows and left for a few hours, by the time i...

Based on the other reviews, I felt safe booking this hotel for a 1 night stay. At $70, I wasn't expecting 5 stars, but I have stayed in far better rooms for far less money. I don't think I have stayed in a worse room at ANY price. I want to be fair to the owners with this because I...

.....but not horrible, either. The place is clean and quiet (other than dingings and whirring from appliances). Room has a/c, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and free wifi. Bed was comfy enough. All in all, a good alternative to hitting the highway after a late concert.

This was a brief overnight stay. The furnishings in my room were a little worn, the bathroom wasn't that well appointed, but the bed was comfortable, the television transmission fine, the wi fi access first rate, and the housekeeping very good. Under normal circumstances, it wouldn't merit a "four" rating, but in the context of good budget accommodation, it definitely...

We stayed at the Blue Jay motel for one night and were very pleased. It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed in the room. The owners are very polite and helpful. They suggested breakfast at PJs down the road and it was good as well. I recommend this motel to anyone traveling on highway 7 to or from...

Visited the Blue Jay motel on June 27, 2015. Checked in at 2 pm as i booked online 3 days prior - it was the last room left (#23). Had a single double bed but booked a 'queen' size. It was quite comfortable and fairly roomy. Bathroom had a bath, however no drain stopper my wife wasn't too pleased. TV...

Value for money at this place just cannot be beaten so we were happy before we even arrived. Imagine how happy we were when we arrived to meet the most friendly couple who run this place so well. OK, so its a motel and you don't expect the Ritz, But the room was clean, spacious and tidy and had everything...
