This is a wonderful family place that even allows your dog to go swimming. We stayed here twice this summer and enjoy it like home. We travel full time in our RV and chose Windmill Point to stay while repairs were made to our truck. It was a good choice nd we have reserved for next year

The quarry, was very refreshing to swim the sandy area was clean and well kept. They offer life vests for the whole family available to rent for the day as well as have fishing rods to borrow and worms to purchase for fishing. The park itself was great! Large lots for tents. The quarry was amazing for swimming and the water was warm but refreshing. I would recommend that the park have the Porta Potties emptied more frequently. We arrived on Friday morning and they were already/still full. But the park is clean, as are the main washrooms. Make sure you bring a...

Spent the day at Windmill Point and wanted to mention some things that could be improved. The far end of the quarry is hard-packed mud and is becoming overgrown with weeds. Not a great place to sit or even lay down a blanket. Put some sod or grass seed down. Also, there are only two picnic tables at that end...

My family and I purchased seasonal family day passes for the summer of 2015, and found it to be a great little get away in the area. We enjoy swimming in the fresh water quarry and being able to park our vehicles right along the water/cliffs. Can be busy on weekends but that has never interfered with our plans of...

We went with another family and had a very good time. Pretty quiet but it seems when you camp there are always idiots who don't care about their noise. The sites are big but not a lot of cover/bush/trees but they are nice. Ataff where very good. The Quarry was great and very warm. We would go back.

The campgrounds are well kept and very clean. We stayed 3 nights at the end of the season (Sept) and were quite surprised to see as many campers as there were, staying in the park along with the seasonal campers. Our only complaint was that the campers beside us had 2 large dogs, and didn't keep them on a leash, which...

I purchased day passes to Windmill Point Park and very happy I did! When my family and I arrived the customer service was very polite and helpful explaining to us about the park, giving us a map, helping us with fishing rods and fishing bait. We did not know what to expect but we really enjoyed the quarry and had...

The staff were super friendly at the campground. We just happened upon it and were lucky enough to get a serviced site (water and electricity) for 3 nights. We happened upon Halloween weekend so the kids had a blast! The kids also loved the floating trampoline and slide and I loved the fact that they had tons of lifeguards watching...

This quiet campground is located just outside Fort Erie. Situated around a pristine quarry this little gem of a campground offers 30 amp and water hookups, nice level sites and a free dumping station. ($52/night) The quarry offers swimming, scuba diving and fishing. We took advantage of the camp snack bar and enjoyed fresh grilled treats at very reasonable prices....
