Booked on line 2 rooms for one night. Just needed a place to sleep. It was a small room but VERY CLEAN. Staff was friendly and it was a quick check in. Recommend this motel for a QUIET short term stay.

We stayed in this motel for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were standard (we had 1 room with 2 double beds). Beds were a little smaller than expected (2 adults in 1 bed). Pillows were very flat, however when mentioned to the staff they changed them immediately. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would...

Booked on-line based on the positive reviews. The room was clean and we stayed for two days (Agawa Canyon Train Tour). What was really outstanding was the gentleman behind the desk. Knowledgeable about the area and where to eat. Walked in as a stranger left feeling like friends.

We were booked at the Howard Johnson motel. We went there and it was DISGUSTING. All major hotels were booked at this time and we were lucky to come across this motel. Nice friendly guys that ran the place. It was outdated but clean and served our purpose. I would stay there again

Got there at about 10:30 pm after a long drive and was greeted by the friendly person on the desk. Quick check in and then off to our rooms. The room had a microwave which was unexpected and a coffee maker. It was clean and neat. In the morning the gentleman said he would make sure our towels and coffee...

We were hesitant to try a non- chain hotel at the low price. Based on other reviews we decided to check it out. There is obvious pride in ownership which shows inside an out. Some items in room were quite dated but everything was very clean and comfortable. The tube tv must be defying a natural death and a shortage...

Very friendly welcome when we pulled in at 10pm, exhausted from packing and beginning the first stage of our move from Northern Ontario to eastern Ontario. Thanks Rick for the excellent concierge service!! He has maps of Sault Ste Marie and showed us close places to eat. (Breakfast at the Husky restaurant was yummy.) We had a completely quiet night...

We were a little unsure about this motel until we arrived. The front staff was so friendly. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, it is an older motel but works well for overnight travelers to stay. The Bannock Shack beside it is also very goo.

Great place if you need an affordable place for a night! Very clean room, and friendly staff. We arrived pretty late in the evening (about 11:30pm) and they were able to accommodate us. Affordable rate ($80/night). Would stay here again on our way through the Soo!

This is the second year we've stayed at this motel. What can i say? The rates are reasonable, staff is helpful and freindly, and the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. If you are looking for modern or fancy, then it may not be for you... but otherwise a great little motel!
