The Foster's Inn is mere steps away from the Avon Theatre and the downtown shops. The staff are friendly, the accommodations were clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The brunch menu is fantastic and the food was delicious. Light sleepers beware...the rooms on the second floor are just above the Foster's Inn bar, so you'll hear music late into... More

Arrived in Mid September for our annual visit to Stratford to celebrate my fiance's birthday. We decided to try a different boutique hotel and I booked the Foster's Inn months prior. Per their website the room looked fairly large, and it shows a decent size flat screen TV, as well as nice bed, chairs, and a nice bathroom. Upon arrival... More

Although the hotel is quite old, it has been beautifully refurbished...very clean! The staff was friendly and accomodating and the food was wonderful! Parking is free and closeby. Being so close to the theatre made getting around very easy for my husband who uses a walker.

We spent one night here over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were originally put in to a room that didn't have a second bed for our son, but this was quickly rectified with no stress. The room was clean and bright, the bed was comfortable, the pullout sofa bed was perfect for my 4 year old son. The only drawback is... More

Well I guess we had the best room in the place. 3rd floor overlooking the street. I think it was room 302. King sized bed which was quite comfortable. It wasn't noisy, most likely because no one was sitting out on the front patio of Foster's Restaurant. During the day there were some repairs going on - some serious drilling.... More

Nice clean, modern rooms. High ceilings and nice decor. A very unique old vibe with old hardwood floors. Beds very comfy. Great location just steps from the Avon Theatre and the rest of downtown Stratford. Not one complaint. We'll be back 😃👍

If you're looking for a true "inn," Fosters is the place to stay in Stratford. If you're looking for a Hampton's-type hotel, keep looking. Fosters Inn is a converted Odd Fellows hall with rooms on levels 2 and 3. There is a long stairway if you're in pretty good shape. There is an elevator behind the pub if you're so... More

Location right in town next to Avon. Easy walk to Tom Patterson and pleasant walk to Festival Theater. Large, comfortable ,clean rooms. This time we stayed facing rear and it was very quiet, street facing rooms can be a little noisy with post theater crowds, for the short time that lasts. Comfortable beds, crisp linens and large, modern clean bathrooms.... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Fosters. Great staff and excellent service. Friendly atmosphere. Close to the Avon and Studio theatres. We both had steak (excellent) which included very fresh local vegetables.

We stayed at Foster's Inn for one night and after a short time I wish we had booked a second night. The room was large and the bed comfortable, the food at the restaurant was fantastic and the service was amazing. The owner was present and made us feel at home. The pub downstairs was just happening enough so that... More
