The Mercer Bar and restaurant is cozy and warm. There is a full bar and reasonably good bar food. Be prepared however, to climb steps if you want to stay at the hotel. While parking is "free" there are certain disadvantages - I had to carry my bags up 3 flights of steps from the parking lot. The front desk...

We stayed on a Saturday night. Check in was easy. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Street was full. Had to pull up in bus zone and jump out to see where to park. Check in for hotel is coatroom inside the bar. Parking is around the back. Lots of stairs. We were on the third floor. Bar and...

I love this place. It is a great location on the main street in Stratford. You also have free parking. The staff both at the hotel and restaurant (they are one in the same) go above and beyond the call of duty. Our room was great with a microwave, coffee pot, and a refrigerator. Did not hear a sound and...

Stayed two nights over the Canada Day holiday. Room was spacious and clean. A/C worked well - easy/effective control of environment. The view out onto Ontario St was nice. Generally a quiet hotel - no noise from street or hallway. Security was good - locked door to get into the accommodations floors and of course the room itself. Amazing location!...

Exhausted from my drive to Stratford & subsequent medical appointment & not wanting to face the return trip in the dark on a foggy night I took advice from staff at oral surgeon's and went to the Mercer Inn for supper & overnight accommodation in one, easy-peasy location downtown. My appetite meager for days, the Gluten Free Mussels with most...

Mercer Hall Inn has that late 19th century exterior with a very warm yet modern restaurant interior. There are 14 rooms upstairs and the one we stayed in was plenty big, but still had a homey feel. The fireplace is a nice touch (albeit not a real one), the jacuzzi tub is huge, the bed is even bigger and exceptionally...

My Girlfriend and I stayed at the Mercer Hall Inn when we came to town for a show at the Stratford Festival. Check-in and Out were easy with very pleasant and friendly staff. We had no issues during our stay. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The location is great, right in town and convenient for walking to the...

The food was too salty for five us ....one person was compensated. The presentation was akin to food thrown on a plate. Small dessert portion spooned into plain drinking glass- unappealing . Wasted my time and money never will go again so many other places much better. Very slow service to top it off

Was greeted at front of restaurant by management for check-in, which was quick and easy. walked through to back of restaurant to access stairs to hotel rooms over the restaurant. Management encourages use of a back door to access the stairs to the hotel rooms. Note: 1 flight of stairs from back door to main level, and 2 flights of...

This is the most awesome place, and we won't be staying anywhere but here on our next visit! The Inn has an awesome ambience, amazing beer selection that includes over 100 craft beers, and a delicious and creative menu. The staff are wonderfully kind and see to all of your needs. The rooms are clean and beautiful, you really couldn't...
