Built in 1898, this home has been beautifully restored, with modern facilities, lighting and heating. The main floor features common rooms, restored wood panelling and intricately designed wood floors. Roberta, host and owner, has tastefully decorated the house with a mix of antique, family and modern furniture and an absolutely outstanding art collection. The King Room on the second floor... Just lovely. Steps from Kensington Market and China Town, right on the edge of Little Italy. Fantastic room, so comfortable! I loved the coffee/tea/water selection right by the door. Breakfast was a gourmet treat. I also fell in love with the two furry residents.

We stayed at The Annex Garden last weekend, spending three nights in the Suite. Roberta, our host was fantastic, giving us ideas for supper, which were all nearby . . . a ten minute walk away. She had delicious breakfasts each morning, which we we enjoyed while chatting with others at the table. The home was beautifully done, and our... More

We stayed 12 nights at this beautiful B & B, and from the very first night were convinced that this is an ideal place to stay when visiting Toronto. Roberta is a wonderful host who is very helpful, informative and accommodating, and even cooks great breakfasts. Tara, Roberta's assistant while we were there, was very pleasant and helpful. Flossie and... More

We visited this B&B in early October. The house was very well restored and the furnishings both in the common areas and our room (top floor) were impeccable. Everything worked well, from showers to cable TV to (really good) wiFi. Breakfasts were healthy and filling. What I liked about it the most was its convenient location and overall ambience .... What more can be said in addition to what has been said already. This is simply stunning B&B and Roberta is a wonderful hostess. We had the front room on the first floor overlooking the street and I was up early each morning sitting on the balcony completing my blog for the previous day and watching the squirrels cavorting in... Perfect place to stay in Toronto. Beautiful Victorian home with updated bathrooms--just lovely!!! Our breakfast was delicious and our hostess, Roberta, took VERY good care of us during our one night stay--provided a fabulous restaurant recommendation and also helped with areas of the city to visit. Would absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast and will definitely stay there again in... More

Probably the best guest house I've ever stayed in, a mix of old and new done to perfection, can't praise it enough, and I didn't use all the facilities it had to offer, would recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto, really enjoyed my four day stay there.

My husband and I recently stayed in this already fabulously reviewed home. I don't have much to add about how very beautifully it has been restored and furnished nor to the professional but warm way Roberta runs this place. But I would like to make note of the way this owner went out of her way to help me in... More

My husband and I stayed at the Annex Gardens in Toronto this summer under recommendation from my sister who used to live in the annex. Wow! What a find! This B&B is just beautiful. Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
