Room was clean. Beds were fine -- nice to have two queens instead of two doubles. Pillows left something to be desired. Public parking lot off Bedford Road was very convenient to the hotel. Separate shower and tub was nice but shower stall was tight and I am not a big person! Small lap pool was fine because the hotel...

Great location, nice hotel, clean rooms & very pleasant staff. Room services needs to get their act together. My room's minibar was empty. I asked the reception if the mini-bar service was not part of the amenities. They apologized for the mistake & promised to rectify it. Instead of stocking the fridge whilst the room is cleaned 2 employee came...

This was my first stay at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville and while it was very short, I thought they did an excellent job. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable. Their WIFI was easy to use and fast. And my checkout was quick and easy. My only suggestion (not really a complaint)...

I booked rooms at this hotel for a wedding party I was part of. First, the prices are more reasonable than I expected, considering the location. The whole staff was very accommodating, making the stay just perfect. The suites were well kept and clean. For the price range, the hotel is top notch.

The staff -- from the doormen to office manager Rolf Kendra -- could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a two-day stay to celebrate a 70th birthday. We were upgraded to a lovely comfortable suite overlooking downtown. A chocolate birthday treat was waiting in the room. When we experienced trouble printing out airline tickets, executive secretary Anna...

We stayed here as a base for checking out whether we wanted to move to Toronto. It is centrally located so easy to access all the best sites and places in the city. It is also right on the edge of Yorkville with its upmarket shopping and restaurants so great for some wandering and people watching nearby. The hotel itself...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
