I stayed here for 2 weeks as part of a business trip and I would like to say that it was a good stay (no excellent) at a very good location. King Street is in the heart of the city and the hotel is located at a good place with lot of eateries and pubs. The stay at the hotel...

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms are sleek and modern. All areas are very clean and the beds are SUPER comfortable!! Very pleased with the shower and bathroom. Although there is not a lot of things in the hotel, there is a very nice breakfast/lunch area where we had the breakfast buffet. It was well stocked with many different...

Stayed overnight for a girls night out, since we weren't staying in the room too long I didn't mind the small washroom with no tub. The room has a futuristic feel to it and the beds were very comfy. Room service was prompt with toothpaste. Good stay. They allowed for a 1pm late check out

Visited the Hyatt Regency Toronto for a 2 night stay. Good location-lots close by to do and eat and drink. Parking garage very tight, front reception very good and helpful. Rooms modern, however you can sense that this hotel used to be a Holiday Inn and has been converted to Hyatt. Hallways dark and feel outdated. Bathroom was small, crusty...

Stayed here for a weekend to catch a baseball game. Rooms were a little small for the price but the location of the hotel was perfect. Plenty of things to do within walking distance, staff very helpful with suggestions on places to go. I would shop around a little more if I make it back to Toronto but I would...

The front desk was very professional a efficient. The rooms are very nice. The only missing thing in my room was a work desk. That would have been nice to do some work in the evening The hotel's front door is right next to a Starbucks. If you're walking, you can easily walk right by it. If arriving by car,...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
