When driving, the underground parking garage is somewhat tricky to find because it is not located on the same street as the hotel's address. The parking is accessed by a side street. The hotel is extremely well located in downtown Toronto within walking distance of many of the city's famous landmarks and tourist favourites. Check-in was very fast and efficient....

Good service, nice rooms, clean, quite rooms and located in a great neighborhood. What more do you need from a hotel. The only negative is that I did have issues tapping into their wifi, but got a technician on the phone and they were able to make it happen. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here on...

We stayed at the Hyatt last month when visiting the city for a weekend. Check-in was a breeze and staff quickly came to assist when a lineup developed at check-in. We were greeted with smiles at the front desk. The bed was super comfy and the room was quite spacious for a standard room in a Toronto hotel. I especially...

This was our second time staying here, we we're in town to see a theatre production. The hotel is a minute walk from the Princess of Wales theatre and is so close to some great restaurants on King st. We bid for the hotel through Priceline and very happy to get the Hyatt. The location is great, right in the heart of the entertainment district and short walk to downtown. The room was spacious and a very comfortable bed. Seemed like it had been through a refit recently. There was free wifi in the room and great views across...

My children treated me to an overnight stay for my birthday. The hotel staff went all out to treat me royally. From my check in to the hotel on my arrival, to the staff at the breakfast buffet. Each and every member of the staff made this a special and memorable occasion. Thank you.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
