The Intercontinental Toronto Centre is always our first choice when visiting the city. We are Aspire IHG members and always have a wonderful stay here. Rooms are perfect. We have stayed in everything from King Corner suite to the 2 room suite and the bilevel suite with spiral staircase. Any room will make you feel pampered. From the moment you... More

Six of us stayed here for five days. Great downtown location. Lots of things to do within walking distance Clean and modern rooms. Comfy beds. Great housekeeping. All the staff I dealt with over five days were very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby restaurant and lounge. Would definitely stay again and is very easy to recommend.

Stay at InterContinental Toronto Center for two nights during the week of November 14 and it was great, again! This hotel never fails to impress. Every stay is excellent! Moreover, it has the best location in downtown Toronto.

The intercontinental Hotel on Front street is steps away Union Station, (which has a fast convenient train from Person airport). It is also steps away from the CN Tower and new aquarium, which is well worth a visit. We got a room upgrade 'just because' and were very comfortable. Check in was very fast and easy. It you join their... More

The InterContinental Toronto Centre is a BIG business hotel, well situated for the downtown business district as well as the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre. You'll see what I mean by BIG when you get into the lobby - it's cavernous. Check-in was slow (as can be checking out). The room itself was fine but just beginning to show... More

Dear Wheelie07042, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your stay with us this February. While we were happy to see that you enjoyed the hotels convenient location, were troubled to learn of the delay you experienced at check-in and check-out and that your guestroom was beginning to showing its age. Please accept our sincere apologies... More

Perfect ending to an anniversary. Stayed at this hotel as we were going to see Adele. Nice easy walk to concert and restaurants. Quick check in and when clerk found out it was our anniversary upgraded us to a higher floor. Outstanding view. Room was really nice. It was a good size, very clean and the bed was really comfortable.... More

This hotel has a pretty good location, and the staff is decent, but it is simply not up to the standards of other Intercontinental Hotels. The entire property is dated. It was probably state of the art when it was built 30 years ago, but that time has come and gone. The staff, though well-meaning and helpful, are simply not... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in business and I thought it was great. It's a smart city centre hotel next to a large convention centre and 5 min walk from the CN tower. Check in was quick, friendly and efficient and I lucked out with a corner suite on the 21st floor (Room 2137) - see my pics for more... More

The staff was super-friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, and you could not beat the hotel's location or convenience. It was not as luxurious as other IC hotels, but that does not mean this one is not great. I would stay here again without hesitation!

The hotel is next to Union Station that makes the UP Express easy to use. The meeting rooms worked well for our meetings and the room which was an ungrade to a Jr Suite was spacious and quiet with a view of the tracks at Union Station which we could not even hear.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
