Stayed here several times now, and can't think of a better place or value. The location is just off Yonge Street, near the south end of Eaton Center. It's on the subway lines, in the financial district, and near tons of great restaurants in the south part of Toronto. It's an all-suites hotel, with underground parking with unlimited in/out for...

Toronto is my city, having lived in Toronto for many years, I Love Toronto, and know the city exceptionally well. So, I am very particular about choosing a hotel in Toronto. I quite enjoyed staying at this hotel for a few days, the room was well appointed and there were the usual toiletries; however, not sufficiently to want to stay here again. Breakfast was ok but not particularly varied

Over the past few years we have stayed here 2-3 times. We like the location being close to Yonge Street, only 5 minutes to Baton Rouge at the Eaton center. Tim's & Sunset grill breakfast restaurant across the street. Check in is fast and easy, staff is friendly. Room is a 500 sq ft suite with a living room area,...

I am not one to leave a negative review anywhere but this stay was so awful that I didn't feel as though I had a choice... On Friday January 20th, 2017 I stayed at the Cambridge Suites in downtown Toronto. The purpose of my stay was to surprise my boyfriend for a very special anniversary and birthday celebration. Check in...

I have never been so disgusted, disrespected and disappointed in a hotel stay in all my life. From the miserable faces and attitudes at check in to the hassle and lies being made by employees at this hotel. I had to call the manager 3 times to speak about my stay only in turn to never hear anything back from...

Wife and I had a very special night and a good night's sleep on excellent bed. Right after settling into our room staff arrived with a special gift only because under Special Instructions I said, "anything that could make the evening extra special for my lady"... the extra attention was very nice. We arrived back too late for room service...

Great location & Great service!!! You are across from Sakes Fifth Avenue and one block from the Eaton Center. It's an 11 min walk from Union Station (if you take the train in). A clean and maintained hotel. Close proximity to everything! Rooms were clean, comfortable and well stocked. Perfect place for a couple to spend the evening. Might not be the best place for families with children to stay at.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
