Great location. Comfortable and clean. The suites are well laid out. Not huge but why are you staying in your room anyway? Subway is next door and the underground PATH system lets you walk anywhere downtown. We will stay here again. Recommend longer concierge hours. 930 to 500 may be ok, but we were out most of the days we...

July 2 was our 2nd time to the Cambridge Suites. The room suites are very comfortable and the pull-out sofa bed was perfect for our 6 and 7 year olds. Our family also really likes the central location and the onsite parking. We travel to Toronto about twice a year and this where we'll stay.

I would highly recommend the Cambridge Suites in downtown Toronto. The location is very central and a fairly easy walk to most attractions including the CN tower. There is a Subway station around the corner and nearby streetcar and bus stops. Many excellent restaurants are in walking distance. As for the hotel itself, the service is friendly and excellent. The room (Cityscape King and Sofabed) was amazing. The furniture was very modern, our suite had two flat panel TV's, a DVD player, and free Internet that was a good speed. The room's furniture and walls were also in very good condition. The location is amazing. It's right in the thick of downtown shopping and attractions. It's only a few...

I stayed at Cambridge Suites last weekend with a few of my friends. The lobby is really nice (we took lots of pictures in there!) Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
