A good hotel in a great location. To be critical the check in process was tediously slow (4 people in the queue and it took 20 min to get seen). BnB breakfast was very good - top eggs Benedict . Rooms well equipped although bathroom was a bit tired and in need of renovation. The bed was extremely comfortable

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at the very centrally located Sheraton Toronto Centre. There was much to like about it, little to dislike, and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because, by nature of the brand, it's a very generic hotel in the 4 star category. Check-in was easy with Marc, who was really friendly...

The hotel is perfectly located for downtown Toronto and has amazing views of the city from the top floors. Especially pleased with the club lounge and the wide variety of breakfast choices plus evening snacks. This top floor lounge is a great place to take photos of the city. My family LOVES the indoor/outdoor pool, which has a nice large...

Our family of 6 sharing 2 adjoining rooms. We requested a crib which arrived in a timely fashion. The bedding was fresh - lots of pillows - and a large TV for our family to enjoy. We took advantage of the upgrade to the room on the 43rd floor where for breakfast, there was lots of room for the 2...

This was perfect for my family. We walked to the Royal Ontario Museum, the EastonCenter, CN tower, St. Lawrence market, and Chinatown from here. On the PATH so we could go shopping without our coats! Room was nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Bring your ice skates and skate for free right outside the door!

We have stayed at the Sheraton Centre hotel in Toronto three times in the last five months because it is very convenient to do so and the staff are very professional and amenable. But this review is about the restaurant in the hotel which we found very disappointing when we stayed there last. We wouldn't eat there by choice as...

The hotel is clean, the staff are very helpful and incredibly polite and the rooms had plenty of space. It's also perfectly located in the centre of Downtown. However, unless you choose a premium room you will be charged $15 per day for the basic wifi. In this day and age, that's excessive. Even $5 a night would be acceptable...

Clean hotel, friendly staff, club room perks were added bonus - continental breakfast and evening snacks on the 43 floor with gorgeous views of the CN Tower and the Lake to the south and the city to the North. Club floor rooms included a mini fridge and free wifi. The hotel connects to the PATH system with quick access to...

Really did an amazing job hosting event. Great rooms, comfortable with a great view. Only piece of feedback is that housekeeping takes a long time. I went to rest around 4pm and they were still making quite a bit of noise in the hallway and knocking.

Always enjoyable, close to a lot of shopping, attractions, and so forth. The Path system is convenient to travel. The staff is excellent, in every area, I have never had an issue. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable, fast internet. The lobby is the best place to people watch!!

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
