Great amenities and excellent accommodations for downtown Toronto. This is a full-service upscale hotel in the heart of downtown. You can expect excellent treatment as a guest from check-in to check-out. Even complimentary concierge breakfast or a custom coffee or latte. We wanted to get a cab during heavy traffic and the bell captain went out to the street in... More

Excellent location close to the main attractions in Toronto downtown area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary water bottles were offered. Room was clean and with everything we needed during our stay. The only down side is that we have to pay for the internet.

I stayed at this hotel on October 22, 2016 for an overnight out of town with friends. The staff couldn't be nicer! From the bellman to the front desk agent every one had a smile on their faces and greeted each person as they arrived. The hotel has an awesome lobby bar which we visited quite often. The location is... More

This was a great hotel and the rooms felt freshly renovated. The staff was so friendly. I would like to call out the service from Abdul. I had an early morning flight, but he made sure I had my coffee before I had to run to the airport. The staff in the Concierge Club were very friendly and made me... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights mid-week. The room was a King, Balcony Room, which offered great access to the sounds of the City. However, the temperatures were much too cool for us to really enjoy it. Being Marriott Platinum, we took advantage of our access to the Club Lounge. However, in this property it is located... More

Hotel location is amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a luxurious feel to them. Service was good. All staff friendly and helpful. This seems to be an expensive hotel. Parking is $36 per night. Would visit again if i found a deal.

Been here a few times, first time was just to sleep due to flying in from out west, however, my second time here was for a few Blue Jays games and I was blown away with the kindness of the staff! Shout out to Rupio (I think thats the spelling) my room service gentleman who was very talkative and kind!

The hotel was in a great location, close to everything we needed. It was clean, bright and we had a newly renovated room with a comfy bed. Staff were excellent (everyone from the valets, doormen, front desk) all wonderfully helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
