I stayed a weekend here and found the stay adequate. The hotel is located in Yorkville right next to Hudson's Bay. The lobby seemed to be recently done, but the hotel rooms felt very dated. Given the small check-in kiosk in the lobby, there were lines at all hours of the day (perhaps they could use extra staff).

Dear Jechou: Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay. We do have a great location to use as a base while visiting Toronto. We have recently renovated our lobby and restaurant as well as meeting space and Concierge Lounge. Room renovations are scheduled for later this year. If your travel plans bring you to Toronto...

Very good hotel. Great location - connected to the Bay Center Mall and subway stop. Walking distance to the ROM, shopping and great restaurants. Staff was excellent, helpful and very accommodating. Only criticism would be our room could have been a little cleaner, particularly the bathroom. Fitness center was very good too.

In our room sleeping around 11h30 at night, we were awaken by someone trying to entre in our room with his room card and knotting at our door. We got up and look through the peep hole and saw people with their luggage trying to get in our room. We told them thru the door that they were at the...

We decided to stay in Toronto one night just so we could tour the city for a couple days. We got this hotel on Hotwire. We were very satisfied with the price we paid and the quality of hotel we received. We decided to stay in Yorkvill because this is an area of Toronto we had not stayed in recently....

I stay quite frequently at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville in Toronto, ON and really have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Marriott Bloor is a higher end hotel, staff are very nice and greet you upon entrance to their hotel and every time they see you. I utilize this hotel every chance I can get for business purposes. Booked a couple of nights here to celebrate a family birthday as we had booked activities within the area. The location is excellent and connected to the subway, shops and the Bay, underground path, local shops, Yorkville and so on. The hotel had parking underground ($40 valet) or public parking available. The rooms was 3.5 stars but was clean and...

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and quiet even if it was a little small. The hotel service was excellent. Given that it is downtown Toronto I didn't even find paying for parking. However, we were puzzled at the $13 fee for wifi.

The restaurant in this hotel was outstanding both in the taste and quality of food as well as the service. There was a great variety of options for breakfast, like blueberry buttermilk pancakes, oatmeal to French toast and more. Both Raj and Mesfin service at breakfast was to be noted! Thank you! In the evening I ordered Steak frites! Best...

Well if you want a hotel for a quick stay in Toronto and quick access to the TTC subway then this hotel is probably good for you, but remember NO FREE WiFi!. Also NO SHUTTLE to the airport and they really didn't care about looking at alternatives. One hotel concierge just said "take a taxi" which was really NOT a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
