Spent one night in the area as a mini-staycation. The hotel is currently undergoing reservations so if that sort of thing bothers you then I suggest you stay elsewhere. Otherwise, it's a great value for its location. It's within walking distance of most major shops...More
I recently stayed with a colleague at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville when we attended a conference in Toronto, and it was a great venue. Upon arrival, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was close to shopping and to two subway stops…Bloor/Danforth...More
It is like coming to a friend's house when we stay in Toronto. The room allotment manager (Susan Anderson) went out of her way to help receive a small shipment of wine due to restrictions of shipping outside of Ontario. The front staff are quick...More
We stayed at Yorkville Marriott for three nights - great room, great service, great everything. Can't beat the location...highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying downtown Toronto. Suites have two TV's, new showers and very comfortable beds!
Stayed recently for a night in Toronto to see a play and do some shopping. There are limited choices in this part of Toronto, other than a couple of high end hotels, so this Marriott is a good choice for value and location... it's close...More
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and
after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
