I arrived for a two day seminar on Sunday and check in was very efficient and well done. There are two towers and I stayed in the North tower. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. My room had a bath tub and shower equipped with supports for those with mobility issues. The stay was very quiet,...

I stayed a week on business here in March 2017. It is not luxury, but it is everything you need. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. A short walk to everything else in Toronto. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The rooms were recently redone and so things were clean and fresh, although some of the ceiling...

Stayed here last weekend for three nights in 701 of the south tower. There were three of us in a room with two queen beds. The room was recently updated and was nice and spacious. The beds were comfy and we all had great sleeps. Jia was great at the front desk and was friendly and helpful during check in....

Great hotel, room was VERY clean and everything was right where you expect. TONNES of plugs and USB for charging, WIFI is free and very strong. Checkin was a breeze. Wished the restaurant/bar was a bit more separate but lots of local bars and pubs close by. Can't beat the location. Love love love. Will be back!

The thing that stands out to me the most about this hotel is that they treat you like royalty. The staff was so polite and extremely accommodating, it was fantastic. On top of that they offer delicious food at the bistro, a very clean exercise centre, and beautiful clean rooms. One time the line at the bistro was a little...

Stayed here several times from November to February. Rooms are newly renovated and very clean. A minor hiccup in the south tower with no hot water, but easily remedied by the staff. Room service was ordered. Arrived quickly, hot, and good quality. Would stay here again!

The rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable and clean, meeting all the needs of business travel. You can't beat the comfy bedding and the pillows are to die for. The Courtyard delivers the comfort expected at a Marriot. This hotel is located in the heart of downtown a short subway ride to Union station for other connections. There is a cafe...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights in Feb 2017. We had absolutely no complaints! We requested early check in and the front desk staff were so efficient at getting us into our room and providing us with the wifi instructions. They were so welcoming- especially the blonde woman. Unsure of her name but it began with an...

I stayed at courtyard last december, the facilities were nice and clean, the staff at the front desk was kind and helpful at our arrival, however, their lost & found system needs to be improved. My fiance left some of her clothes inside the closet, we were at the airport (1 hour after we checked out) when we realized about...

Stayed at the hotel Nov 12-16th 2016. If I wasn't by myself I would've complained heftily about this room. There was hair on the sink in the bathroom and on the floor. It looked like somebody did some personal grooming and it wasn't cleaned up. When I cleaned that up with toilet paper I noticed that there was also a...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
