Stayed for a night and got a clean room and great service. There is a bit traffic in the elevators in the morning. This is a very decent gotel for the price. Worth a try if you are a frequent traveller.

Friendly staff and central location. Nice, modern decor. On-site catered meal was excellent. Wifi was good and bed was comfy. My room had a balcony and though there was only a view of condos the fresh air was appreciated. Would like to see liquid creamer with in-room coffee and luggage rack in rooms. A bottle of water would be nice,...

We stayed at the Courtyard for two nights last week. The hotel is newly renovated, and our king suite was huge, clean, and comfortable. We were on the top floor and had a nice view of the city. The hotel is walking distance (about 25 minutes) from all the major attractions downtown and there are good stores and restaurants in...

This is probably one of the best values for a hotel in downtown Toronto. The rooms have been recently renovated and look great. Our room had an interesting layout where the sink was outside of the bathroom, but this was minor. The hotel is conveniently located on Yonge next to the College TTC stop, and a reasonable walk to Eaton...

Stayed here for 4 nights in March 17, the reception on arriving were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size with bed, seating area and en-suite bathroom. All was exceptionally clean and daily serviced. The hotel does have a pool but with the temputure outside being minus 10 and the pool only at a certain temputure we...

Stayed here for the weekend the week of March 3rd and 4th, helping son move apartments. Room was comfortable and clean. Easy Check-in and very nice Customer service representative checking us in. Location was excellent. I would like more breakfast options and area, but that really minor. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for my mums birthday for 8 nights, check in was easy and Delphine on the check in desk was helpful and friendly. The hotel room we had was great with two comfy queen beds. As it was my mums birthday the staff had even had a birthday card sent up to the room signed by them all...

I arrived for a two day seminar on Sunday and check in was very efficient and well done. There are two towers and I stayed in the North tower. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. My room had a bath tub and shower equipped with supports for those with mobility issues. The stay was very quiet,...

I stayed a week on business here in March 2017. It is not luxury, but it is everything you need. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. A short walk to everything else in Toronto. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The rooms were recently redone and so things were clean and fresh, although some of the ceiling...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
