The good stuff: fine staff, good beds, nice Canada 150 lounge, can't beat the location near Ryerson (around the corner from the fantastic Loblaws built into Maple Leaf Gardens).
The bad stuff: paint peeling in bathroom, mediocre air conditioning and elevators at best, no happy...More
Got a fairly good deal for a weeks stay at the start of the uk school holidays. On Yonge street it's about 15 minutes walk up from the union station. (It's uphill a little so it's much more easier walking down to the station than...More
The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We slept well. The hotel charged 35 CAD per 24 hours for the parking, which is ridiculous. The pool area was just okay. I thought the customer service was quite good.
Very good hotel. Certainly 4 star. Very nice rooms with tea making kits which were replenished when asked. 2 bars, guest lounge and public bar. Usual hotel prices. Beer was 8cad$ a glass! (Not a Pint).

Courtyard By Marriott Toronto Downtown Hotel Toronto ,
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
