The DVH is a great place to stay at. Marsha who works at the front desk is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Then there is the bar where you can relax have lunch/dinner or a drink. You would enjoy your stay :)
Over the past 2.5 months I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. Over this period of time, they have had signs indicating they are "installing new elevators". With each stay, the operating quality of the existing elevators has declined. The last straw was my...More
Downtown Toronto is crowded and busy. This place is maybe 4 miles from downtown and stands on a large hilly piece of land with greenery and trees all around. The rooms are of a good size with each room having private bathroom. There is a...More

North York is one of Toronto's most culturally diverse neighborhoods. Home to a number of cultural events throughout the year that celebrate the city's varied ethnic communities, it's always worthwhile to see what's going on in the area. Its cross-section of inhabitants include students and long-time residents, giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both local and international. Extremely family-friendly,
its rivers, arboretums, and parks cater to outdoor activities, while its historical villages paint Toronto's history in exciting shades. Bumper cars, mini golf, and inexpensive shopping also help cater to the inclusive family feel.
I think it was about a half an hour. It was a very expensive cab ride. We went in half with friends so I'm not sure what it was but i think at least 60.00. I would suggest using uber as much as possible!
