Stayed recently. The room (247) was clean, quiet and bathroom clean. .internet service was good - a minor downside being tv channels were not in hd. I did ask for room away from 401 highway and stayed in building near main parking (not the tower). The gym facilities were quite good with enough machines and weights. Ate at restaurant and... More

Pros: Clean room! Ours was modern and had all the amenities. We had one overlooking the highway. Spent a weekend here for my birthday and it was great! Service was quick and the staff was very polite. Pool area is awesome for kids and restaurants are great!! Cons: Parking was a bit of a challenge. I think we went when... More

Stayed a few nights for a work trip. Room was typical and for the most part, the main restaurant was pretty good. Although on my last evening there it took so long to get my cheque that I almost left without paying. I was also disappointed that I didn't get to try out the rooftop Japanese restaurant since it was... More

Booked through Expedia.ca......never again. $48 for 4 nights parking. Did not have to produce a ticket to leave the parking lot for the first 2 days. Rip off. Room 401. Window broken.....could hear wind rip through the crack all day and night...no right seal at all. Shower takes at least 5-10 minutes to get hot. Did not want room service... More

We had a mini suite because we expected some family to drop in. The room was excellent and suited our needs. We had access to the top floor where there is a hospitality room with coffee etc. The room has full view of the harbour and CN Tower, Roger's Center, etc Great service by staff and is handy to the... We have stayed in this hotel twice now, my husband more times for business. We chose this one over others because of its link to Marriott - which we have had good experience with and have accumulated a number of points with. However, this stay so far (I type this from our room) hasn't been so great. The ceilings in... More

This is a nice hotel. One of the best in the immediate area. Tall building and a nice indoor pool. Buffet breakfast area and nice breakfast. Good lobby, although it is not very large. We had a very good and safe stay. Thank you!

We just stayed at this hotel for one night with our 4 children (ages 11 to 7) to go to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. The reason we booked this hotel was for the pool and waterslide which the kids loved. What we weren't so happy with was the service at the front desk upon checking in and the... More

I stayed at the Delta Toronto East for one evening on a Friday night as my organization had booked one of the meeting rooms for a meeting the following day. Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
