Our first Visit was in December for my husband's birthday. Couldn't stay away so we went back again for my daughter's 12th birthday on Friday January 20th. We were impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of this hotel. Everyone without exception were very pleasant. There was Damla and Sherry Mae at reception. Alice in the restaurant and Ravi who brought...

Stayed her on business for one night in January. I was in Room 224 which is at the end of the tower facing North. I have reviewed this property before and stayed here many times as my head office is nearby. There have been some improvements but I still feel the hotel is average at best. Check in was fast...

My daughter and I stayed here January 5-8, 2017. I have stayed here numerous times before and I have noticed some improvements to previous issues. The elevator service is improved, it seems they may have upgraded the systems in the elevators...in previous years one of the 3 elevators would be out of service by weekends end but that did not...

Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The problem is with the old, worn out wall paper and poorly maintained décor (splotches of un-matched paint, and other lack of attention to details). Same comments as others regarding the towels, they are ok, but not really comfortable. The biggest issue for me though is the...

When we arrived at the hotel, our children were greeted with a small package of toys. I'm not sure whether this was exclusive to the Holiday/New Year's season, but it was a very sweet surprise for our five and eight year old. The front desk staff was very kind and engaging, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff...

Have stayed here several times in the past. Waterslide, which is the whole reason we booked here is only open weekends now. Doesn't say that anywhere. Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
