My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and we were impressed. The staff at the front desk were helpful and kind and the rooms were beautiful. All of the staff were very welcoming, especially Lina at the thirty bar in the hotel. She was fantastic and by the second day we were regulars and she was very professional...

I chose this hotel because I needed to be in downtown Toronto, the price was better than other options and it seemed to have reasonable TA reviews. I did not regret my choice. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient on check-in. My 14th floor room was fairly small but the bed was comfortable and noise was not a...

This was a short over-night for a business meeting downtown. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and front desk staff were helpful. My company booked the hotel and I wasn't fully convinced I would be happy as I had heard a few negative comments and I'm a picky traveller - I expect customer service in a service industry. Call...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November. Walking distance to everything and near the subway if you need to go out of the downtown core. The personnel is very nice. Special mention to Nellie at the front desk who was very knowledgeable of the area and helpful. If you find the parking expensive, there is a parking...

On our 1st visit to Canada & Toronto, this Hotel was a real pleasure to stay in, with a welcoming front-desk, & a very pleasant reception from the staff. The Concierge was knowledgeable on any questions we had about the area day or night which was very useful as this was our 1st visit. We had a late meal in...

I rated this 4 star because it was a good deal for a great central location. Convenient, reasonably priced indoor parking. Nice, clean rooms although they were really small. Good bar, nice restaurant and a Starbucks on site.

The staffs at reception are helpful and friendly! The hotel is clean, above expectation and the important is, centralized location! Tube station is just a few meters away, and definitely worth for it's money. For those who wanted to explore in downtown Toronto, this will be a good choice with it's walkable location.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
