This was my first stay at Soho Metropolitan and I was most impressed with the service and quality. The location was perfect for work and entertainment/shopping. The concierge staff were also very helpful. Luckee Restaurant is also a must try, the menu is fabulous and available for room service. I will definitely be back.

We stayed one night before leaving for our honeymoon. Arrived at the hotel room key was waiting for us with a free room upgrade. Room was beautiful and so was the service. The view from the room was great.

When I arrived my intention was to go out shopping in the evening and to grab dinner nearby. After getting into the room and looking around, I cancelled that plan. I ordered room service for dinner - which was excellent - and ran a big bubble bath and stayed in. The room was so nice I didn't want to leave...

Spend the extra few dollars and secure a deluxe room which gives you more than enough room to flake out on the bed, the couch or if you are dedicated at the desk to get some work done. Suites are spacious with a closet almost larger than my first apartment. The higher you go, the quieter it is, although street...

I was recently in Toronto for work and the creative agency we work with had booked the hotel. I am so glad they chose this one. The room was incredible; it had amenities I've never seen in a hotel before. The heated floors in the bathroom were wonderful. The staff was amazing. And, the mattress in the room was the...

We were at the SoHo for 3 nights. The rooms were clean, the beds SOOOO comfortable, and the service was incredible. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and they knew everyone by name. The restaurants are also excellent, including one run by a Top Chef chef. When our door key had to be "re-energized," the hotel employee returned with...

The room is very comfortable and the layout is great. The bathroom being separated by the dreesing room from the bedroom is lovely. The heated floor in the luxurious bathroom is a treat. And the food in the restaurant ,Luckee , is delicious.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
