We were on a 5-week trans-Canada motorcycle trip and after crossing the Confederate Bridge in high winds, we were ready for a relaxing place to stay. Elmwood more than delivered and was a dream come true as we had been planning this trip for 25 years and had been dreaming about staying in a Maritime Province Victorian B&B. This one...

We stayed at the Elmwood Heritage Inn based on the great reviews on TripAdvisor, and we were not disappointed! Carol and Jay both welcomed us warmly upon our arrival, and made sure we knew where everything was, both inside and outside the room. Carol also went through every option she could think of for dinner, and even called our restaurant...

The Elmwood Inn is definitely a BnB we look forward to staying at again. The inn itself preserves the best of old and new. Carol’s knowledge of the area and her recommendations were spot on. And Jay’s breakfasts are absolutely the best way to start the day.

We enjoyed three nights at the Elmwood Inn, and found it a great base from which to explore both Charlottetown itself and PEI in general. Carol and Jay are warm, welcoming hosts and their home is wonderfully well maintained. Attention to detail is evident in all of the varied, tastefully-decorated rooms. The breakfasts were both delicious and beautifully presented. I...

Our family of four stayed at the Elmwood Inn and were tremendously impressed with their hospitality, their assistance in guiding us regarding local attractions, and last but not least, their meticulously prepared and delicious breadfasts. At every step they provided gracious assistance, from carrying our bags to our room to gifting our daughter with a few of their special breakfast...

My new husband and I and our 15 month old son have just spent 4 nights as part of our honeymoon here and it was just wonderful. Carol and Jay are so welcoming! The Inn is lovely and spotlessly clean. They were fully prepared for little ones inc. cot, high chair, bowls, spoons, beakers, the works. We had delicious breakfasts...

After visiting the Elmwood inn with our daughter last year and having a wonderful experience! I knew that when we returned to Charlottetown we could not leave without being spoiled by the 5 star service and experience delivered by Jay and Carol. From arrival and every step along the way this stay is one which comes with a highest recommendation....

Elwood is a lovely and comfortable B&B. Do not expect grandeur here, but what makes this place special are Carol and Jay. Our daughter had a skin rash that needed medical attention. Not only did Jay help us navigate the Canadian healthcare system, he showed up at the clinic to make sure we were cared for without problems. We never...

Although we only stayed one night, we would highly recommend Carol and Jay's home as the place to stay when visiting Charlottetown, PEI. Their graciousness and hospitality were wonderful. The history of the home and the stories behind the antiques collected over the years were a delight. Breakfast as others have said was delicious! We had 'The Cook's Room' which...

We spent three nights at the Elmwood and found it to be an exceptional experience. The owners have clearly spent a great deal of time researching the history of their home and have done an impressive job restoring and improving it. Jay took the time to show us all the features of our room and the rest of the home,...
