Travelling throughly Atlantic Canada, I came to PEI and had to contend with overpriced motels and booked-solid accommodations. I was thrilled to come across this location in the tourist literature. Reasonably priced, this is a good hostel, with adequate facilities. The beds were a bit short (I am 6'/1.84 meters tall) and I had to adjust my sleeping position to...

This is an acceptable hostel, but nothing more. Pros: - good location: near the beaches, bike rentals, good food nearby - lots of parking Cons: - NO security: the front door is always unlocked, and there are no keys for the dorm-style rooms. They're not even apologetic about this. Luckily I had a car so kept everything locked in my...

Terrible place: dirty showers, dirty sheets and completely unapologetic owner. The place is left completely unattended every day from 21h30. You will be charged fully even if you don't stay there. You would be better off sleeping outside.

We biked over from Pictou NS and were looking for an affordable place to stay overnight on the island. We booked one night on the dorms and were very impressed by the experience. This was my first hostel experience and it exceeded my expectations. The room, showers and bathrooms are every clean. Vanessa and Kegen who work the front desk...

This hostel was a bit different than what I'm used to as a solo, young traveller. The hostel is a large barn that got converted into a hostel. There are multiple rooms and about 4-5 showers for females (and about the same number for males, I'd assume). I stayed in the female dorm which had 8 beds. There are a...

We stayed for 2 nights in room #10. This room was on the third floor and shared the floor with only one other room. Unfortunately the people in the other room were really loud and left their door open as they noisily prepared for their day and used the shared washroom. It would have been great otherwise, so I guess...

Cheap accommodations and offering both dorm and private style rooms, this hostel is in the centre of the island, just 25 km north of Charlottetown, which gives residents a perfect base of operations to explore the island. I stayed for 3 nights in the dorm room and although the beds were a little cramped and soft (I am 6'4) I...

We stayed at the Brackley Beach Hostel for two nights. The hosts were very friendly, and were helpful. We really enjoyed having the ability to cook our own food in the kitchen and were encouraged to make ourselves at home. The kitchen has a variety of utensils and cookware, as well as a variety of items (tea, coffee, bread, butter,...
