Unfortunately, not very satisfied with this McGill residence. The photos online are very deceiving and are nothing like the actual residence.
The building is very old and rundown, therefor things don't work properly like the shower water cutting in and out and sticky doors.
Stayed here two nights - perfect location near city centre/ metro - nice and cheap student residence ideal for someone just wanting a bed for the night - to anyone complaining about lack of aircon get a grip
Though staff is very nice and parking is available. There is no ac! Ya you heard me right. Terrible nights sleep. Spend more money and get some where with AC. Not worth the bargain in the summer months.
I like the location near McGill University. Went for small evening walks along Park and Sherbroke and had nice coffee. Many nice cafés and good atmosphere with student and residents studying and chatting while enjoying their coffee. Rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom and...More
Stayed in a simple one bedroom with bath and fridge which had two large windows that opened for fresh air. One can walk everywhere from this convenient location. The metro is a short walk and Tim Hortons is across the street. I even walked to...More

Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and
competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
