This is a reLly cool hotel. The design is super modrrn, and location is fantastic. Rooms are on the smaller side, but they make up for it in design and functionality. I'd recommend this to anyone travelling on business.

Although it's on a busy street, the hotel is very quiet, even on the lower floors. We arrived very early, 9 AM, and asked if we could store our luggage until check-in time. Instead, we were offered a room immediately, which I really appreciated. The staff throughout our stay were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are a nice size, are...

I travel to Montreal often but this was my first stay at Hotel Zero 1. I arrived late evening but front desk was fully staffed and check in was quick. There is no Hotel parking only valet at $26 per day, not bad for Montreal. I takes a while to retrieve car though as it is off premise parking. Went...

This hotel was reviewed in a travel magazine as the place to stay in Montreal so we booked directly on their website as they have some good offers. The room was very big and exactly like the pictures on the website. The wifi was excellent. The hotel is located opposite chinatown and is bout a 5-10 minute walk to the...

We had the best experience staying here! The hotel upgraded us to a suite at no charge. The room was massive, clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a great view of a cute little park around the corner. One of my favorite parts of this hotel was the location. I have been to Montreal five times and have...

It's crap!! The staff is rude and unfriendly. The rooms are small and dull. Even the shower is weird. No door so everything gets wet and really weird angle to take a shower in. Rooms are not very clean either. Way over priced for what they offer. Many more and better options around that are nicer and cheaper. Live and...

The hotel is located in the Quartier Latin, literally across the street from Chinatown. The staff was very helpful, and kind. Check in and check out were a breeze. The only thing I didn't love was that we had to illegally park our car (parking is very limited) and wait for the valet to go and move it to the...

Stayed here on a quick weekend visit to Montreal and really enjoyed it. The interior design is stylish and unique--a far cry from the usual bland look of hotel chains. Our room had an industrial-chic vibe to it but was still comfy and welcoming. It was on the small side, but very clean, and had lots of cool features, like...

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It has a very modern urban feel yet it's warm and cozy. We arrived at 9:30am. The girl at the front desk still took our bags and valet our car for us while we went out for breakfast we were called to chk in early at 11am so that was awesome....

The décor is very strange. It has grey and black walls with concrete "accents" Most importantly the room has NO handicapped rooms I do not think we should support any facilities which do not have handicapped access. For example, I had to leave my scooter in the van because the rooms had a strange layout. The room was so small...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
