Friendly attentive, knowledgeable staff. Great location, close to bell Center. Clean modern rooms. Wished we could lower the AC more. Comfortable. Quiet. A nice weekend get-a-way to de-stress and relax

The hotel is conveniently located to both business and entertainment areas. Front desk staff are friendly, efficient and multilingual. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Desk space is sufficient for the business traveller with plenty of power outlets and USB charging ports. I've only had breakfast in the hotel, and it's excellent. Other reviews indicate parking is a problem, but I...

The hotel was fine: nice room, quick check in, and close to Ste. Catherine Street, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Having said that, we arrived after a very long drive only to find the parking lot was full. It took us quite a while to find a spot on another street and then we had to lug our...

Dear Michele565 Thank you for choosing our hotel for your recent stay and for sharing your experience. I am happy that our staff made you feel welcome and comfortable and that you got everything you needed during your stay. Regarding the parking, it is a public parking independent from the hotel and managed by Inidgo Park. They graciously granted our...

Everything is impeccable here, save one thing: The parking. First off, upon arrival there was no room for us and we had to park elsewhere. Second, when we did finally manage to find room in the hotel lot, the charge was 30$/night. One would think that at a hotel of this stature, parking would be complementary for guests... This is...

Dear Josephffff Thank you for choosing our hotel for your recent stay and for sharing your experience. Since the parking managed by Indigo Park below the hotel is public , it is true that non hotel guests can have access to it (guests attending a meeting in our hotel, or attending an event at the Bell Center), and it can...

Was pleasantly surprised; Nothing like the smell of fresh paint and caulking to know you're in a new room. Shower was awesome. My only complaint would be the beds and mattresses...My feet were hanging off the end and I'm only 5' 10". Mattresses were a bit lumpy. Clean hotel, newly renovated....should get new mattresses.

Novotel Montreal Center is located a minute away from the shopping Mecca of Montreal - rue sainte Catherine. It is reasonably priced nicely furnished hotel. The rooms are spacious. We had a queen bed and a fold out sofa bed. The important consideration was that the restaurant was open for meals (dinner) from noon till 10pm. We (given the Jetlag)...

It is lower than 3 Star hotel IBIZ in Jaypur, India and price is 3 times. In all aspect, it the worst hotel ever I have seen as accors member. Just horrible. Food, Entrance Lobby, Room Service all are below 3 star. I am planning to get rid off my membership.

The hotel is centrally located to sites and good restaurants. The breakfast has a great variety. The rooms are adequate and comfortable and even one floor above the street was surprisingly absent of traffic noise. Really good value given the pricey alternatives in the area. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Dining room staff are really great and the service...

Good to stay in center of Montreal. Restaurants and bar's not far from the hotel. Good Breakfast. Parking is difficult due to less parking space in the garage. Room's not the newest ones but always clean.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
