A great place to stay in the city. A really lovely room with a delicious breakfast buffet. They provided a cot for my son which was perfect. The parking is $24 a day but is secure and easy to get to. The location isn't great for tourism to be honest but there are nice eateries within walking distance and the metro isn't far at all

The hotel is in need of renovation. Carpeted floors aren't clean. Restaurant food wasn't good. Staff aren't professional. This is the worst ALL hotel I've seen. In this covid time there was no disinfection station at the hotel including at the entrance of the restaurant.

I have stayed in many hotels my entire life but never stayed in one where its toilet got plugged until I stayed in this hotel! Toilet blockage did not even happen in the youth hostels I stayed in when I was young. For the price we paid, we knew we were not staying in a four-star hotel but we expected it as a "decent" hotel. The amenities are limited; no hair conditioners or body lotions. Some paint on the back of the bathroom door and ceiling were bubbling and starting to peel off. The room did not have any written information about the hotel (such as the time for check-in, room service menu, fridge bar prices, etc) and I tried to find the info on the "hotel channel" on the room TV, but it showed nothing. After all, I do not think we will choose to stay in this hotel again. We will pay a little more to stay in a nearby hotel where toilets won't get plugged in the middle of the night.

I have never stayed in a Novotel buy I will again for sure. Fantastic location right in the heart of Montreal, easy access an lots of parking. Rooms excellent and staff were super helpful. No problem speaking English either! Middle of the road pricing but but worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Yes a contradiction in terms... However the room was very quiet in its location. We had a view of an ugly service lane but that was ok as it had no traffic, people or cars. Made for a quiet spot. The noisey part was the AC unit. It hummed constantly, struggling to cool the room. We kind of got used to it. The room had plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. Reception were ok, although not that welcoming at 2am when we arrived. We did not eat here so I cannot comment on the food. The location was good for shopping and only 10 minutes from Central Station. Quite a walk to the old port area though. There is a supermarket close by as well, Provigo. Overall ok but not 4 star and over priced.

The hotel located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Just a block from the St.Catherine Street. Walking distance to Metro, restaurants and shopping area. There is an airport bus stop just around the corner. The check in and check out process was less than 10 minutes. Room is clean and in good shape. Two things can be improved. 1) the water in the bathroom is very slow. 2) There were no free bottle water provided.

Hotel is lovely, receptionists very helpful, bedrooms grand! But the restaurant service is appalling! Waiting extraordinary amount of time for drinks, being ignored by the waiting staff. Breakfast buffet was grand but again the service was very poor - no organisation or leadership!

We have reserved a superior room (high floor). The room itself was ok. The bathroom was small. There were no free water bottles supplied, even though with this kind of hotels there should be. The view from the room was straight to the back side of the hotel. The room we got was from the sixth floor, and it was not what I consider high floor room. The staff was polite. The breakfast was kind of mixed feelings. Some of the items were constantly out. It was really hard to get waitress attention to get coffee or tea. Tea was served as hot water, but no tea bags.

Dear ra_pe_ti, Thank you for your feedback on your stay at the Novotel Montreal Center. We have nine floors so the sixth floor is considered a high floor. We try to accommodate all of our guest demands however running at full capacity makes it difficult to accommodate everyone's demands of floors. We hope we will have the opportunity to better serve you in the future Kind regards Tom

Stayed two nights for business. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Would certainly consider staying there again on next visit to Montreal. Stay away from the breakfast buffet. Overpriced and there are much better alternatives nearby.
