My wife and I recently spent a couple of nights in an incredible 1 bedroom suite at this fabulous hotel and we have nothing but glowing comments to make about it. It is certainly the little touches that sets this and other Ritz properties apart....More
A little late in submitting the review as we stayed earlier this year. We were booked into The Ritz, as our usual hotel of choice was undergoing renovation. Our stay of three nights was faultless from the start. The staff were helful and accommodating and...More
We’ve stayed at many RC’s in our travels and as usual felt like we’d be in great hands on our honeymoon trip to Montreal, but we had no idea just how wonderful it would be until we stepped out of the car and into the...More
The first thing you encounter is the opulent decor. Tasteful and yet it has very real richness. Befitting to the ambience was the Tea and small plates of fingered food that accompanied the pot of delicious tea.
This is a must visit place!
As this is the original Ritz Carlton, it was nice to stay here and take in the always magnificent Ritz service. The staff were attentive. Their concierges are truly the best and most knowledgeable. Their technology in the lighting, curtains, toilets and showers/sauna is outstanding....More
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
