This hotel has great location, easy to walk to Latin Quarter and The Village. Below the notel is a food court, drugstore and a grocery. Easy underground access to Metro at Beri-UQAM station. The underground self parking is very convenient. The restaurant has a.nice breakfast buffet.

They call themselves a 4-star hotel, but it's really just a 2-star hotel in a tall building. The room was dirty and worn out. Stains, scuffs, and general griminess. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was soft and uneven and I could not sleep on it. The only thing the room had going for it was the shower water pressure....

Walkable to many places and convenient to have IGA downstairs on the main floor without having to go outside just for snacks/booze. We got a room on a business floor without having to ask but I would request this if possible, it seems as though these rooms are much nicer than others. Overall, a lovely stay!

Stayed at the Hotel Des Gouveneurs in Montreal. It is rated 4 star..The hallways are dark and dingy. They hotel smells old. There were cracks on the bathroom tiles and sink. The furniture is beat up. Basically a 2 star room 30 minutes from downtown by foot. Would not recommend to anyone.

Our tour group stopped here for one night. The hotel staff is very helpful. Upon arrival, we were in a hurry to find a church to attend Mass. Arnauld, at the Front Desk, was very helpful with Mass times and directions. The rooms are very beautiful. The bed was very comfy. Our room had a Keurig coffee machine. If you...

I stayed recently at the Gouverneur Place Dupuis. Somehow i walked right by it, not realizing it was actually part of the metro system at Place Dupuis. A great thing, if you plan on taking the Metro anywhere. The hotel is pretty much downtown, on the eastern edge of the main corridors. Easy access to everything downtown, and good value....

This is my go-to hotel when I stay in Montreal. For the price, it's perfectly acceptable, generally clean, and roomy enough for a decent stay. The location is central and near shopping, the Gay Village, Metro, etc. and close enough to downtown that you can walk if if you're a walker. The sometimes included breakfast is, much like the hotel,...

Great location close to a major metro station and bus station. Makes it easy to get around. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We were just on the 8th floor but had a nice view. With $30 extra you could have a higher floor and full breakfast but we liked to try the local coffee shooed so we...

The hotel is very well located, near the 'quartier des spectacles'. It also has direct access to the metro and is one block from a stop of airport the bus. Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
