Hotel easy to find, excellent location just two blocks north of St. Catherine St. couple blocks from McGill Music. Walking distance to restaurants. Room was clean and staff helpful and friendly. Great breakfast included. Would stay again. We had two rooms, the kitchenette was well stocked with what we needed. Pool was great for the kids.

This was in a great location - near restaurants, museums, shopping etc. We used the pool and sauna daily. It was clean and well maintained. It was busy but quiet, you never heard your neighbors. The breakfast was acceptable but the same exact thing every day. It included cereal, toast and fruit. The staff was friendly and offered ideas of...

We paid about $140/night and felt it was a pretty good deal when all was said and done. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We don't speak French (much) but it wasn't a problem as everyone in Montreal seems to speak English as well as French. We loved having a one bedroom apartment style room. It was roomy. Our 12...

Hotel is close to McGill and easy walking distance to metro and shopping etc. Front desk staff are amazing and rooms are dated but clean. Master bed was a back breaker though so extra cot and pull out couch became the hot ticket for us. Breakfast is included and is great. Pool is on top floor and is not warm...

L Appartement fulfilled all our needs. We needed a place to stay for 2 adults and a 4 and 5 year olds. The kitchen is tiny but more than sufficient. the overall size of the whole place is adequate the bed in the bedroom is good, not a superb bed but allowed a good night's rest and bedding was ok....

Value proposition depends on number of people staying in the room. Two bedrooms can handle up to 6 people (2 on sofa) but 5 is much more comfortable, Single bathroom becomes bigger problem with larger company.

For the price, this was a perfect place to stay, especially with a young child. Being able to rent a suite where you can shut the door and still watch hockey or a movie was great. The breakfast in the morning is perfect to get you started. Parking for SUVs is right across the street and can be included with...

Being in Montreal for the first time, the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful especially when you have no clue where you are going. I enjoy the sauna(free). The room was nice, outdated but nice. Love the fact it had balcony. It was in great location. We always found parking around the hotel. I would go back...

Great value for the price. Been coming to this place for years and will continue. Good staff, breakfast was adequate. Location has always been great. Not the type of person that would like a high end hotel. This place is pure and simple.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
