initially I made a reservation for 2 people but called back and told the clerk (who happened to be the manager) for 3 people. He said no problem. When I checked in he said okay so there's 2 people? and I said no there's 3 he said okay no problem no extra charge unless there are 4 people and I...

I booked with Expedia and the pictures from the website seems fine for the price. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy but the very bad part is the FILTHY (sink, walls, shower, knobs etc.) washroom and the smelly carpet. In my room it was a standing shower and its really small hard to move. There's no picture...

The advertisements don't exactly tell you what you get and what you don't. Based on my experience, the car parking is on street and you may have to go around for 30 minutes, Room lights, Elevator and breakfast area may not work due to no electricity, the building construction is centuries old with uneven floor, torn carpets, wall papers and...

The hotel looks nothing like in the pictures it is worst than a motel. Not worth your money and it is not a safe place. The room was dirty, the bed sheet were old and dirty. The carpet was dirty and smell bad.

If you think you're getting a deal because of the price and location, think again. This property is dirty, old, and frankly not worth your hard earned money. The lobby is tiny and hosts six or seven very large fish in an incredibly small pond shaped water hole. I know they're just fish, but it's just cruel! We stayed on...

Looks doable for the price but honestly not worth my safety. The fire escape is bent out of shape and ancient, the elevator is like a death trap because it stopped halfway from the opening, and the halls/stairs are way too narrow. Paper thin walls and ceiling, tiny room with no way to turn around in the shower (or shave),...

This older hotel could be so much more! Situated very close to many things Montreal has to offer. Sadly this hotel needs serious management shakeup, when it comes to cleanliness and basics such as towels (old & worn). Also there's little or no parking for a vehicle, you play cat & mouse with the parking regulations. So I could go...

Location and the staff are the only good thing about this place. It is 3 minutes away from the Metro Station. We stayed in Room 36 - and it was the ugliest & shabbiest room we have ever seen. The bed-linen was old-fashioned, miss-matched, ugly and sparse. The towels were from the 1970's & were not nice to use. There...

Don't expect much, this hotel is just a place to sleep. You get a room with an old noisy AC unit, a big old TV with cable and that's about it, a bed and a toilet in which you barely fit in... don't even dream of closing the door if your sitting on the toilet! One problem I had was...

Called for early check-in at noon and he said i could come in anytime at no extra charge. Outside looked shabby and absolutely no parking even taxi had a hard time. Almost changed my mind. Little lobby smelled really clean so figured was gonna give it a chance anyways. Reserved a normal room with a double bed. Felt humiliated and...

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
