Perfect for this price! We stayed only one night here before the return flight and have searched for a hotel with good airport connection. This was really perfect, the airport bus leaves at the next corner. Room with 2 beds perfect for us, nice and...More
I stayed in this hotel for 3 night altogether. It is located not far from Via rail, Rue ste. Catherine and bus - 747 from airport's stop. You can get $10 24 hrs STM bus pass from the airport . This bus will bring you...More
We have spent for business three days at Y Montreal. Right and central position, clean, kind staff, rightely equipped. The hotel is very close to the main center, downtown. Hotel close to financial area, with bar, restaurant and wine bar. We suggest.
We stayed here on two seperate occasions during our trip. The first room was great. Only comment would be that the shower is tiny.
The second room though seemed to just be all wrong. The toilet overflowed all over the floor, the hairdrying started smoking...More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
