Great location in Downtown Montreal. Feels safe and quick walk to lots of fun and exciting things! I would say the size of the rooms is shocking... Very small. My son had a small playpen in there, and there was hardly room to walk. I don't think most people go to Down town Montreal to hang out in their hotel...

The location was great. Near everything, really! The room was fine. A place to lay my head for 2-nights. The continental breakfast was adequate. It was a last minute weekend getaway and I enjoyed myself. A special thank you to Judy. Warm check-in, warm welcome and a wonderful attitude. Thanks! J. Miller

I recently stayed three nights at Hotel Travelodge Montreal Centre. Checking in was easy. The front desk clerk that checked me in was engaging but professional. After she checked me in, she printed directions for a cigar bar that I asked about. The room was clean, comfortable, but small. I would be surprised if it were 200 square feet. The...

I was spontaneously spending a few days in Montreal and I was looking for somewhere that I could stay at the last minute, and I was excited to find this place! I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in Montreal. Location - The hotel is very close to lots of fun and interesting things to do, including...

Last March I spent 7 nights in this hotel. I travelled with a group of 20; as soon as we arrived, we've been waiting for more than 40 minuted to get all our rooms (even if we communicate to the hotel our arrival time at least one month before our arrival - we arrived around 15:00 to the hotel, so...

Amazing place to stay not too far from the city centre and it met all my needs really! It was not too expensive and I've stayed here twice already! Great value and just a walking distance to many things.

Booked this place last minute and the price was good for a downtown location. The staff at check in was nice however thre was no parking available when we arrived so we had to park elsewhere - not convenient at all in the winter. We got a room with 2 bunk beds and 2 twins. The room is very very...

The Travelodge in Montreal gave my family and I great value for our money! The hotel is centrally located; there's a lot to do within walking distance, and a nearby Metro station makes everything else in the city easily accessible. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and for an extra fee ($22 per day.....very much worth it) you can park your...

We had a great experience in the hotel. It was not that spacious but it wasn't a real issue. The rooms are freshly renovated and the surrounding looks new. It is very close to the Old Montreal and a lot of Montreal attractions. The parking space was limited so, piece of advice, check-in around 3pm to secure your slot for...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
