Lucie is the best host you could wish for. Always positive, and very helpful in choosing events to attend, places to go to, where to eat, etc, including directions how to get there. The breakfast is a real treat. The place is very pleasantly furnished and decorated. It is in a quite residential neighbourhood, yet only about a five minute...

Merci Sharon It was a real pleasure to have you at our 'grenier' last week. I hope you will be able to come back next year ... maybe mixing work and family! Both of us will have time to practice other's language!!!

We were a little concerned when we first found where the Gite Grenier was located as we were not familiar with that part of Montreal having mostly spent our previous trips to Montreal in the Plateau. But rest assured, this is a lovely place to stay in a quiet residential area just a couple minute walk to the Sauve metro...

Wonderful is just one word to describe our experience at this B&B. The accommodations were fresh, clean and very comfortable. Our breakfasts, selected from a varied menu and prepared by owner Lucie Grenier, were delicious. What made the breakfasts even more enjoyable was having a couple of them served on a private balcony. This B&B is close to the Metro/Subway...

The nicest shower I've had anywhere, with a 4-option spray from above, shoulder height, waist, or hand-held nozzle. It was very relaxing! Staying with Lucie and Fernand combines the comforts of home with travel needs. Besides the excellent gourmet breakfasts, Lucie's loving attentions and recommendations for bistros help make your visit a delight. It being our first time there, we...

This is the most wonderful B&B. It is tucked away in suburbia, but it's a hop and a skip to the nearest subway to anywhere in Quebec. Lucie, the proprietor, is charming and helpful, and a wonderful host. The Gite is welcoming, the neighborhood is quiet, the bed is so comfortable, the breakfast is DELICIOUS (the cheese of the day,...

I have stayed several times at the gite and always feel like I'm coming back to see friends when I'm there. Lucie and Fernand are very kind and knowledgeable about Montreal, I have seen them furnish addresses and directions for different places and suggest activities and they have even done an errand for me! The rooms are impeccably clean and...
