My girlfriend and I found A La Carte on the internet, saw the many great reviews and decided to book. After our stay, I can say that they were all spot on - the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the nature room which was very cozy and the jacuzzi was such a pleasure after a long...

We (my husband, me and our 13 months old daughter) stayed in the appartment at A la carte BnB for 4 days last november. We were really pleased with our stay and we will surely be back next time we go to Montreal. Plus: location is great, near Masson street with small welcoming restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, bakeries and public...

My wife and I made our first visit to Montreal on a road trip from Connecticut. We are so glad that A la Carte B & B was the first place we stayed. Petra and Daniel are very friendly, generous hosts. They greeted us when we arrived at 7 PM and even gave us a glass of wine to welcome...

Petra, Daniel and Monsieur Petit were fantastic hosts!! Every process was done kindly and professionally from calling for reservations/prices to checking out. My girlfriend and I are mid-twenties and our hosts were extremely easy to get along with and interesting to talk to the entire weekend (Friday to Monday morning). They are more than happy to introduce you to A...

My wife and I landed in Montreal at different times. Daniel was at the airport waiting when each of us arrived. It felt like I was being picked up by an old friend. We chatted about everything from my flight to home repair on our way back to the B&B. Upon my arrival I was introduced to beautiful Petra the...

My partner and I recently spent three days getting to know Montreal with the expert help of Petra and Daniel. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mother Nature room, Daniel's fabulous breakfasts, and customized suggestions for our sightseeing itinerary complete with starter Metro tickets, "insider" information and restaurant options. Though a friend familiar with Montreal had supplied us with info about several...

We are a young couple and we spent 2 nights in this B&B. The hosts, Petra and Daniel are absolutely friendly and helpful: they spent a lot of time with us explaining how to move around Montreal and we also had some nice chats while having breakfast. Monsieur Petit is the third host of the house; he's a lovely miniature...

We stayed in SUITE JUILLARD. It was really nice and comforting. Daniel had a great DVD collection, which we made good use of when we had some down time. The breakfast was great. My boyfriend especially liked the coffee. He said it was the best he had our whole trip, which is quite the compliment. Daniel and Petra made everything...

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
