The staff at reception is friendly and nice. The room size is OK for us with 2 young kids and it's very clean. Unfortunately the stove at our kitchenette didn't work when we were about to cook for dinner, at the same time there was a false alarm that they couldn't fix for over an hour so there was no...

I arrived early but the front desk staff allowed me to park my car in the hotel garage and store by luggage. Later, once checked in, I was assigned a bright, airy, clean room that was slightly dated but very functional. Staying here was a bit like having an apartment in the village area of Montreal. Equipped with kitchen appliances,...

The location was pretty good for that part of Montreal, the room was a single room with kitchen and bathroom. Full size bed was a bit tight for two of us, but overall was clean but a dated room. Expect the room smelt like curry and the wife really has a hard time with it. Had to sleep with the...

No real complaints. Rooms were clean and spacious with a small kitchenette area. Breakfasts were decent with a good variety of food choices. The location was very convenient being right beside Berri-UQAM station and within walking distance of downtown.

The hotel is clean and in a good location for the gay area of Montreal. There is also a subway station a stones throwaway. The rooms themselves were functional (with kitchenette) but underwhelming. I would recommend to anyone who was visiting Montreal who was on a budget.

My family really enjoyed staying at the le Roberval hotel. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was not a hotel room, it was an small apartment with two bedrooms a kitchen and a small dining room with an small table and 6 chairs. A nice small leaving room with a TV, a clean...

Nice decent place, helpful staff. Can't say anything wrong with the room or any complaints. Keep up the good work. Even helped me to keep the bags after I checked out for 1/2 a day. Even checked me in an hour before checkin time since the room was empty.

Positives: It's a room that's got the necessities in. Negatives: Internet is basically non existent so go to a place where you can get free WiFi. Kitchenware is very old and outdated. Heating wasn't working. Limited TV channels. Bit far from some of the attractions. You also get a lot of noise from other rooms and the hallway as the...

We were looking for an overnight stay in Montreal while traveling to Quebec City. I picked this based upon reviews, and was not disappointed. We had a suite with a separate bedroom, a sitting room with a sofa, and a complete kitchen. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The room came with a free continental breakfast. However...

This was my first experience at Le Roberval. I arrived before check in but was permitted to garage my car and store my luggage. The female receptionist was bilingual, friendly, helpful and efficient. I was tired after a long drive so I really appreciated her stellar service. The room was available only an hour later and it turned out to...

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
