We stayed two nights for a lark after a business trip, and didn't want to spend all our budget on a hotel. This hotel was professional, clean, great breakfast (included) and right on the subway. The room was small, but certainly enough, so my only real criticism is the "fitness facilities" which are very poor- an ellipitical that doesn't work, two...

I admit that I had high expectations on the hotel. The photos were clear but I thought that the hotel was I little bit newer than it actually is. However, staff is very nice and everything is clean and neat. I'd recommend for the good cost benefit.

Hotel labelle is centrally located at a reasonable price. The suites are great and allow you to make your expresso or store delights like cheese and wine in your own fridge. We use the hotel as a pied a terre often when visiting Montreal.

An average hotel, close to downtown, lots of restaurants nearby in a lively and young community. Room is spacious, clean with a kitchenette. Buffet breakfast included. Parking underground $20 per day. Not your luxury hotel but good for a short day on a budget.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we whole-heartedly recommend staying in this hotel. Breakfast: The hotel offers excellent breakfast, not the cheap kind. The breakfast contains eggs, fried potatoes, meat, cereal, oats, really good coffee, tea, delicious tropical fresh fruits, bread and other condiments like butter jam etc. The breakfast room is spacious and...

I stayed at this hotel because a nearby one was involved with strike action. I very much enjoyed this clean and nice property. My room had a kitchenette and this hotel is very close to the St Catherine Street in downtown Montreal.

This is a small hotel with nice basic rooms. The breakfast was very good and they even allowed us to take a bag of croissants and rolls for our morning when we had to check out early before the breakfast opened. The rooms have been recently repainted and they had nice new tvs in them. This is a strictly "No...

This is a no frills hotel, with some very large rooms. It's always clean and the staff is always really, really friendly. I recommend this for people who are looking for a clean/simple hotel room that is very convenient to the subway and the Village. I have stayed here over a dozen times over the past few years.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
