Stayed here for 3 nights in early November 2016 at start of 3 week road trip around Quebec,NB,NS etc. Very comfortable room with lovely kitchenette and fine view of old town. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was great and FREE. Liked the place so much that I returned later on same month for another 3 nights...

Loved the location. Walking distance to subway system and the bus to/from the airport. Short walk to the gay village, Latin quarter, and not too far from old Montreal. Nice that the units had kitchenettes, too. Staff was friendly, and a nice breakfast buffet was included each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious rooms other very easy access to central Montreal and airport/bus connections. Room has microwave and hot plate so it's easy to eat in after a long day's wandering. Breakfast is fine, hot and cold choices in a clean, comfortable dining room. Very helpful reception staff! Always welcomed with a smile.

The rooms were huge and there was even a kitchenette! They have exceeded my expectations. There was even a free hot breakfast (until 10 a.m.) with sausages, home fries, and scrambled eggs. It was very close to the "Berri-UQAM" subway station, which you could ride the métro in any direction from.

We booked this hotel through hotwire mainly because it had a kitchenette which would be convenient since we were travelling with a baby. We called ahead to ensure that the room we would be assigned would be appropriate for our family, seeing that we were travelling with our infant son of 18 month, there would be 3 people in the...

Once again, we are very sorry about the situation and we understand your disappointment. However, we confirm that your reservation came through for 2 people with no other mention, for your baby or the crib request. Please let us clarify that our standard 1-queen-bed studios offer an area of 200 to 250 sq. ft. like mentioned on our home website,...

The room is clean and large and has a kitchenette which we appreciated. Comfortable bed and nice big bathroom with closet. Nice flat-screen TV with some movie channels. Perfect location with garage underneath and subway station half a block away and walking distance to the old city. Everything is close to perfect except no good reading lights at bed, and...

This hotel is really basic and could use refurbishment but the location is pretty good (15 min walk to the old city), the room was clean and it is relatively inexpensive so you'll get what you pay for.

We stayed at this Hotel for 2 days and had a good experience. The biggest plus of this hotel is that it is right next to the Berri UQAM Station, which is a major junction and subways in all directions intersect here. So this indeed is an advantage. As reviewed by many, yes, the neighborhood is not very great in...

This hotel have everything you need without luxury. In downtown, near the Berry -. UQAM metro station. The neihgborhood is not the better in Montreal, but is one block from St. Cattherine Ouest. It had convenient amenities to enjoy your stay, and the personel is gentil. Very good option for travelers who search low cost and big value.

A hop skip and a jump away from the Berri -UQAM metro and bus station, this hotel is in the heart if the city. Restaurants, ranging from Vietnamese to Venezuelan to steak houses to McDonald's, abound. As for the hotel itself, clients will, first, notice the cleanliness of the common areas and staff's friendliness. Underground parking is available for about...

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
