I was on a road trip with family that started in Boston with stops in Stowe, Montreal, then lastly, Quebec City. I have always loved Quebec with its European Charm. It was my third time in the city, the last one was summer time when we stayed in a hotel just outside old Quebec. I chose hotel Clarendon as I...

This is the oldest hotel in Quebec City, and is lovely inside. The room was a bit small, but we had a lovely view of City Hall. The location is perfect and convenient to everything. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room and planned to have dinner there, but it never worked out. Hope to stay here again!

If you're visiting an historical city like old Quebec, why would you stay in a cookie-cutter hotel? Quebec City is home to quite a few hotels... but the Clarendon offers the perfect blend of comfort, location, and value. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We found the beds exceptionally comfortable. We found the staff warm and helpful. The...

We stayed for 3 nights in this very old but very nice hotel right in the middle of the Old City. It was fun to shop and eat at great restaurants. We walked to the Changing of the Guard at the Citadel and enjoy walking the narrow streets.

It's an okay hotel to stay with good value for money. It's clean and adequate with rather small rooms. It's soooo well located that it made our visit to Quebec so much memorable. It's close to restaurants and little shops. Steps away from La Citadelle and to the Catholic and Anglican cathedral.

We checked in on the day of my wife's birthday and I requested at the reception to please get me a cake to the room. I wasn't really asking for a complimentary one but they never got back to me on this. The lady at reception said she would try but has to check with her manager,, no communication after...

I Recently stayed at 'Hotel Clarendon' with my family of four in a room with two double beds. The hotel is located in old Quebec which makes it very convenient to walk to the shops and historic sites such as the churches (Roman and Anglican), Statues and Monuments, Seasonal Christmas Village, etc. If travelling during winter make sure to wear...

I have visited Quebec on a couple of occasions, but my latest visit was the first opportunity I had to stay within Old City's fortification walls. In previous stays, I had stayed in the St. Roch neighborhood and either walked or caught public transportation to the more tourist friendly Vieux Quebec; the Hotel Clarendon allowed me to stay within walking...

Myself, husband, and two teenage daughters stayed at this hotel in two rooms. The rooms are small but very comfortable and have an old world ambience about them. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with our requests for a local laundry and supermarket. The hotel is ideally located. The public self serve laundry was a five minute walk from...

We went to "Old Quebec" for the annual Christmas Market in the center of downtown. The Hotel Clarendon is located literally across the street from the market. You can view all the lights and the decor from your room window. Its also right in the shadow of the legendary Chateau Frontenac. You could not ask for a hotel more perfectly...
